ABOUT US
Kibale home stay is located at the edge of Kibale Forest National Park in Bigodi village along Fortportal-Kamwenge road. The home stay is run by a local Ugandan couple that has got background expertise of ten years in hospitality business.

FACILITIES:

Kibale home stay has got three separate units each having three self contained rooms making a total of Nine offering accommodation to travelers visiting kibale forest national park for Chimpanzee trekking , Study tours, Research trips and Holidays, All rooms have got hot and cold showers and powered with hydro electricity.
RESTAURANT AND BAR We have a restaurant and bar serving both Ugandan and western dishes this includes Breakfast, Lunch and dinner depending on our clients’ meal plan, Drinks available at our mini-bar are a selection of Ugandan beers, Liquors, Soft drinks and wines.
ENTERTAINMENT Traditional dance and drama around our camp fire is unforgettable experience of the Batoro people while staying at Kibale home stay and this is pre-arranged with us.

INTERNET SERVICES: we have free WIFI at kibale home stay

LAUNDARY We provide laundry services to our in house clients and this can be arranged on to arrival at an extra cost.

Public Transit

Traveling by bus is 3 to 4hours from Kampala to fort portal, get off at kamwenge stage where you will find taxis/ matatu to Kamwenge or Mbarara on a Tar road which will take about 30-40minutes to bigodi trading Centre get off at the police station, we are just opposite and our sign post will clearly direct you to our home or use google map/my maps we are available in both apps.
