Description

Korosho House is a stunning, newly built four bedroom house set in a large walled garden in the quiet and tranquil Mida Forest area. Set over two storeys, the ground floor features a spacious open living space, incorporating a kitchen, dining area and ​comfortable seating area.  Verandah doors open out onto the welcoming and child-friendly swimming pool that is overlooked by a spacious terrace on which can be found relaxing sunbeds. The fantastic  poolside bar, complete with makuti roof, fan, bottle cooler and barbeque, is the perfect area for sundowners and evening entertainment.

The four double bedrooms, two of which are located on each floor, are elegantly and simply decorated. Each bedroom includes an ensuite shower room, remote-controlled air-conditioning, overhead fans, fitted mosquito nets and built-in closet area. Three of the bedrooms feature double beds, while the other contains twin singles, which can also be pushed together to form a double. The upstairs bedrooms open onto a large beautiful makuti covered terrace with comfortable sofas overlooking the pool and garden below. This is an ideal area for guests to either enjoy morning coffee or retire once the sun has gone down. This terrace can also be accessed by the upper floor communal area.

 Korosho is staffed with a housekeeper and night-time askari, and is protected by Sentry Response security buttons.  It is also part of the Watamu Against Crime initiative.  If required, a casual cook can be provided for an extra fee.
