Description

Little Okavango Camp, so named because of its nearby network of Water channels that resembles those of Botswana's Okavango Delta, is nestled between The Serengeti to the West and Lake Victoria to the East Just 15 minutes from the Serengeti Ndabaka Gate, it is the perfect place to start or finish a safari in the Serengeti to Lake Victoria.

The bird-viewing opportunities in this area are second to none. The bird life around Lake Victoria is rich and abundant with hundreds of bird species in the area. As the largest fresh water lake in Africa the lake is an integral part of local life.

You can visit a nearby fishing village and meet local fishermen and learn about life on the lake, take a local canoe ride from the camp through the channels and into the lake, venture out on bicycles at dawn or late afternoon and explore the area or simply relax at the camp with a pair of binoculars and marvel at the beautiful birdlife which makes this camp so special.
