Description

Ngobit River Lodge situated on 50 acres along the Ngobit River with a 1 km frontage, surrounded by dry olive and cedar forest and relics of riverine forest trees with views of Mt. Kenya and the Aberdares.

The Lodge was originally built in the early 1960’s as a Club and has now been carefully restored maintaining its original character. The spacious Club facilities make it an ideal venue for groups while smaller parties will find Colobus House equally comfortable.

Accommodation

The Lodge has 6 charming twin cottages each with en-suite showers. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are part of the old clubhouse which is centrally located and easily accessed from the cottages.

The cottages are supplied with linen and towels. If you want children/ babies sleeping in the room with you please bring camp bed/travel cot and bedding. For lighting their is a generator for use at night
