Shalom House is an initiative of Koinonia Community, a lay Christian organization based in Nairobi, Kenya.

It houses a documentation centre on peace and reconciliation in Africa and various associations promoting a culture of peace such as Koinonia Action for Peace and Koinonia Advisory Research & Development Services.
