simply saadani camp is a unique safari camp situated just 3 km from the north gate to saadani national park. it features raised tree house-style thatched tented rooms scattered amongst coconut groves on a deserted stretch of wild beach. each individually decorated room has a privateterrace and a hammock with sea views. the beds are draped in mosquito nets and the private bathroom includes a bath or shower. the restaurant at simply saadani camp overlooks the indian ocean and serves mostly seafood. it also has a well-stocked bar. guests can enjoy a unique bush-dining experience. activities at the lodge include nature-walking trails where guests can view smaller bush animals and bird watching. a canoe ride on the mafuki creek is also on offer for yet another bird watching experience. madete turtle sanctuary is 5 km from the property. a charter flight from zanzibar to saadani airstrip will take 15 minutes and a charter flight from dar es salaam will take 30 minutes.
