Tigoni Homestay is a country home located in the lush green landscape in central Kenya near the famous Brackenhearst Babtist. Accommodation at this establishment offers peace and comfort; by virtue of being spacious with ensuite bathrooms for a maximum of 10 homestay guests. Open beamed ceilings, natural woodwork, log fires in the lounges and views over one of the last pockets of an indigenous forest, complement the serenity at Tigoni.

The house is an expansive farmhouse in the cool Kenyan highlands. The Tigoni area has a cool climate similar to that in the some regions of Europe. The house is made of brick and mortar and roofing by red earthen tiles. It is an old Elizabethan house that has been renovated to improve its appeal. The house has four large bedrooms and a master ensuite. The standard bedrooms share two bathrooms while the master bedroom has a separate one.

Meals are served at the table for all guests and family members, where daily experiences are shared. The dining room take on an ambiance of intimacy and the meals at Tigoni house will leave you in no doubt that you are in a private home and not a hotel. Prepared with the freshest of ingredients and with particular care being given to presentation, this is simple but effective home style cooking.

The house has a very large kitchen that can accommodate five people who may wish to do self-catering. The hotel's chef prepares most of the food and meal suggestion cards are always available, to enable the staff to incorporate the divergent tastes of the guests. Provided also is a 20 cubic feet refrigerator, a four burner gas and an electric cooker inclusive of an oven, a toaster, a microwave and all other necessary kitchen accessories. Drinks may be brought along.
