Description

This mangrove forest reserve was gazetted as a conservation area under the Buda Forest station. The forests prevent coastal erosion and protect coral reefs by preventing siltation. It plays a significant role in tourism, recreation and research, as well as providing breeding and feeding grounds for fish.
