• Day 1

  Nairobi/Amboseli

  Pick up upon arrival at JKIA very early morning or from your hotel and drive through the Masai territory to Amboseli Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon gamedrive beneath the photo scenic snowcapped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro.

• Day 2

  Amboseli National Park

  Day spent viewing game starting with a morning and afternoon gamedrive. In between gamedrives we relax by the pool side followed by lunch and final gamedrive in the late afternoon. Amboseli (392 sq km) is not a big park but supported by swamp vegetation it harbours elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro.

  The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in form of swamps.

• Day 3

  Amboseli/Lake Naivasha

  An early breakfast and depart at 7.00 am for Lake Naivasha to reach in time for lunch in your hotel. Have afternoon tour of Hells Gate National Park. You may also opt to have a boat trip to Crescent Island at extra cost.

• Day 4

  Naivasha/ Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast drive to Nakuru and check –in in our tented camp in time for lunch. Have afternoon tour of Lake Nakuru National Park after lunch which is a seasonal home for millions of pink flamingos and many other species of birds. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos as well as the Rothschild giraffe. Lake Nakuru also harbours lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals.

• Day 5

  Lake Nakuru/Masai Mara

  Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast. The reserve is popular for its big game and is also a northern extension of the Serengeti National Park eco system in Tanzania. Lunch at your lodge is followed by an afternoon gamedrive.

• Day 6

  Masai Mara

  Morning gamedrive and afternoon gamedrive to experience the Masai Mara magic!  Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife  and harbouring lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, masai giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas  many species of antelopes. The climax is the annual great wildebeest migration in July, August and September.

• Day 7

  Masai Mara/Nairobi

  After breakfast the tour returns to Nairobi by lunch time and drop off at your hotel or airport for your home bound flight (B). END OF SAFARI

  Included in the price:

  • Transport by a custom made safari minibus or 4x4 landcruiser with a pop up roof for best viewing and photography.
  • Services of a professional English speaking driver/ guide
  • Game park entrance fees
  • Flying doctors emergency evacuations cover
  • Pickup and drop off at JKIA or hotel
  • Full board accommodation in budget tented camps/ lodges as specified in the itinerary or similar
  • 1.5 litre water bottle per person per day while on safari

  • Champaign Balloon Safari at US$450 per person in Masai Mara (can be arranged on request)
