Safari Description: A safari to a Tree hotel, in the Aberdare mountains, then travel north into the arid and dramatic Samburu Game Reserve, down into the Great Rift Valley to witness the spectacular bird life of Lake Nakuru and finally onto the rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara Game, famous for its wildlife.

The Safari Price is inclusive of:

  • Transport in a 7 seater Safari Van with pop up roof for game viewing and photography
  • Accommodation as specified in an ensuite room with private facilities

  • Nairobi

    Arrive at Nairobi International Airport where you are met and transferred to your hotel for overnight. The Stanley Hotel or equivalent- (B&B).

  • Nairobi-Aberdares

    Leaving Nairobi in the morning, you drive north to reach the small market town of Nyeri in time for lunch. The founder of the Boy Scouts movement, Lord Baden Powell spent the last years of his life in Nyeri and is buried here. After lunch, drive through the forest where varied species of game can be seen along the way to your tree hotel. Tonight, you will be able to watch game from your hotel balcony, which overlooks a floodlit waterhole.

  • Aberdares - Samburu

    After breakfast, drive north to reach Samburu Game Reserve in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to this beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe.

  • Samburu

    Spend the day exploring the reserve and its varied species of game. Overnight at your lodge (BLD

  • Samburu-Lake Nakuru

    Leave after breakfast and drive past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Visit the world famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park.

    • Lunch and overnight at Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru Lodge located inside the park-(BLD)

  • Days 6 & 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve

    Driving across the Great Rift Valley, reach Kenya's most famous Game Reserve, Masai Mara, in time for lunch. Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-manned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals.

    Diner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge or equivalent-(BLD)

  • Nairobi

    After breakfast return to Nairobi where you arrive in time for lunch, which is served at the famous Carnivore Restaurant where different variety of meat can be tasted. Transfer to the airport afterwards to catch your outbound flight. In the event of a late evening flight, a day room can be provided for you to relax and freshen up before you transfer to the airport (extra)-(BL)
