Uganda - Etebbe
Upon arrival in Uganda you will be met by our safari guide who will brief you on your entire safari itinerary and will be available for any assistance as you prepare for your primate safari the next day. After the briefing your guide will drive you to the Karibu Guest House in Entebbe for dinner and your overnight stay.

Entebbe - Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast you will check-out and travel to Kibale Forest National Park, commonly referred to as the “Primate Capital of the World.” This park is home to mans closest relatives, the chimpanzee; as well as many other different primate species.
Along the journey you will have a stopover at Fort Portal Town for lunch and then continue on to check-in at the Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Chimpanzee tracking - TibnkaÂ’s Homestead - Bigodi Wetlands walk
After breakfast you will travel to Kanyanchu Tourist Center for briefing and allocation of rangers. You will then enter the forest in search of the chimpanzees. This incredibly diverse forest is also home to over 13 other species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black faced vervet monkey, grey mangabey, potto, baboon and also bush babies. A network of shady forest trails provides much to the delight of botanists and butterfly lovers, while bird watchers are in for a treat with over 335 species of birds recorded, including the endemic Prigogine’s ground thrush.
After the designated time you are allowed to sit among the chimpanzees, you will leave the forest and proceed to Tibnkas Homestead for an African lunch cuisine. After lunch you will drive to the Bigodi wetlands for a swamp walk that includes a brilliant bird watching experience. Later in the evening you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp.

Crater Lakes - Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast you will take off on an early morning crater lakes walk to discover the beauty of the three lakes and the surrounding scenery. Your walking guide will inform you of interesting stories about the local communities as you pass through tea, cassava, maize and other food crops plantations as well as homesteads.
After this tour you will return to the lodge, check-out and begin your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe for your international flight home. This is where your safari will end.End of tour.
