• Day 1

  Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

  This day you will set off by road to from Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National park. Your safari guide will meet you at your hotel ready for the transfer. This long journey will have several stopovers at different attraction sites and for lunch at Mbarara town.

  Mgahinga Gorilla National park is one of the few blessed national parks in the world that house the rare mountain Gorillas. You will arrive to the park later in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Travelers Rest Kisoro (Full Board basis).

• Day 2

  Gorilla tracking at Mgahinga National Park

  This day you will go for a memorable Gorilla tracking experience at Mgahinga Gorilla National park. After your breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the tourist center in the park where you will meet with the rangers who will thereafter take you into the forest for an encounter with the Gorillas.

  You may also meet different animal and bird species as you track the Gorillas. Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given enough time for interaction, taking pictures and videos. Later in the evening, dinner and an overnight stay will be at Travelers Rest Kisoro on full board basis.

• Day 3

  Golden Monkey tracking and evening community tour

  This day you will go for the golden monkeys tracking experience at Mgahinga Gorilla National park. This park is blessed with a variety of animal species that may be encountered during the Golden monkeyÂ’s tracking experience. Birders will also enjoy sight and sounds of different bird species in this park.

  In the Afternoon, you will have the community tour to the native local communities for a cultural experience. The Batwa communities well known for their unique cultures and ways of life will give you a true picture of the African cultures. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Travelers Rest Kisoro (Full Board basis).

• Day 4

  Mount Mgahinga Volcano hike and afternoon relaxation

  This day you will prepare for the hiking experience at the Mgahinga Volcano. Nature lovers will get closer to nature, different animals and bird species may be spotted. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery, landscape and view of the surrounding communities.

  You will return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Travelers Rest Kisoro on full board basis.

• Day 5

  Return to Kampala and transfer to the airport

  This day you will prepare and check out of your lodge, then start a drive back to Kampala, stopping over for lunch break at Mbarara town and later arriving to Kampala in the evening for a transfer to the airport/ your residence.End of tour.
