Explore Ugandas "Primates capital of the world" in Kibale Forest Np and Bwindi with half of the worlds population of the rare mountain Gorillas and many other primates species. In this itinerary, we will take you for the Ultimate Gorilla Tracking encounter at Bwindi Impenetrable National park and thereafter Visit Kibale forest National park, well known for its highest concentration of primates in Africa for chimpanzee tracking alongside other primate species that may be seen along the way.


  • Arrival and Transfer to Airport Guest House

    This day upon arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be met and welcomed by our tour representative, who will thereafter transfer you to airport view guest house for your overnight on Bed and breakfast basis.

    The residence is located a few kilometers from Entebbe International Airport where you will relax as you prepare for next days long cruise to the national park.

  • Kampala to Kibale Forest national Park

    This morning, after breakfast you will cruise for about 5 to 6 hours to Kibale Forest National Park the home to the Chimpanzees and the only place in Uganda where you a 98% guarantee of viewing the chimps in the wild, this park also boasts the highest concentration of primates than any other park in the world.

    We shall have lunch in Fort Portal and later proceed to your accommodation choice for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp. have enough rest as you prepare for a chimpanzee tracking activity in the forest the next day.

  • Chimp Tracking at Kibale Forest National Park

    After breakfast, we will transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist centre for briefing before tracking the chimpanzees at 0800hrs. There is a 98% chance of coming across these habituated chimpanzees.Having targeted the Chimpanzees, expect great surprises by the incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black faced vervet monkeys, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons and also bush babies.

    A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with over 335 species recorded including the endemic PrirogrineÂ’s ground thrush.In the afternoon proceed to Tinkas place for the traditionally cooked lunch cuisine and thereafter proceed for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland where there are a variety of birds including the rare shoe-bill stork, and different monkey species. Return to Kibale forest camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • Kibale Forest National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    After breakfast, we shall drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through one of UgandaÂ’s remote but yet endowed areas. Just like the name states, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in a tropical rain forest with rugged land scape, so get prepared for an adventurous Gorilla tracking experience, one you will live to remember.

    Arrival at Buhoma community Rest Camp for dinner and overnight, have enough rest as you prepare for yet another adventurous activity the next morning.

  • Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Take an early morning breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for briefing, orientation and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which gorilla group given. The guide will lead you through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given one hour interaction and taking photos. Interacting will these giant and gentle apes is truly a rewarding experience.

    You will have packed lunch ready with you. After tracking depending on time you may take a community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have cultural entertainment. This is yet another experience that will give you an encounter with the local African cultures. Return for dinner and overnight at Buhoma community Rest Camp.

  • Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala

    After your morning breakfast, prepare for a transfer back to Kampala. Enjoy your ride and have a stop over at Mbarara town, thereafter proceed to Kampala.

    Arrival on time for a transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your international flight and this will mark the end of your six days Gorilla and chi9mpanzee tracking safari.End of tour.
