Your family safari in Kenya: Take your family and children for an incredible lodge safari to the best family holiday spots in Kenya. This Kenya family holiday takes you to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Samburu, Sweetwaters in Mt Kenya, Aberdares and Amboseli.


  • Nairobi-Masai Mara

    Our driver/guide will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. (If your arrive on the morning flight, you depart for the safari and if you arrive in the afternoon, you have an overnight in Nairobi) Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve through the Great Rift Valley. Make a brief stop to allow you view the Rift Valley and take photos. Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five. 

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

  • Day 2-3: Masai Mara

    Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Optional evening visits to Masai cultural village to learn their culture and dances. Each visit cost USD35 per person and you pay this directly.

  • Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru

    After breakfast, depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp followed by an extensive afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

  • Lake Nakuru-Lake Naivasha

    After breakfast, depart for the nearby Lake Naivasha. Naivasha is one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley lakes, has a variety of bird life and hippo colonies. Lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and afternoon visit to Hell's Gate Park. Activities include hiking, rock climbing, spectacular gorge walks, bird watching and wildlife viewing. Sunset boat ride at Lake Naivasha (you'll pay this directly to boat owners depending on the rides you take). The lodge charges $30 per person for boat ride per hour.

  • Lake Naivasha-Samburu

    After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve. Brief stop at Thomsons Falls. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.

  • Samburu

    Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives in the vast national reserve.

  • Samburu-Mt Kenya

    After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Mt Kenya region. Lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. You can do day and night game drives around the private conservancy, which is home for the members of the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard). The conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya.

    At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

  • Mt Kenya-Aberdare

    After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrive at Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for the 1330hrs transfer to Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife at night and tourists view the wildlife from the balcony of their rooms or lodge verandah.

  • Aberdare- Amboseli

    After breakfast, a representative of Tree Tops Lodge will transfer you back to Outspan Hotel where you'll reconnect with your driver/guide and depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Stop at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi for lunch. Proceed to Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

  • Amboseli

    Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. You'll have an option to visit Maasai villages to learn their culture and dance. The Masai dancers charge a fee and you'll pay this directly if you opt to go there. Visit Masai Village in the evening to learn their culture and dance (at a cost of USD35 per person per visit and you'll pay this directly to the Masai Village).

  • Amboseli-Nairobi-Depart Home

    Check out of your lodge and depart for Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your international flight home.
