  • Shimba Hills - 1 hr drive

    You'll be picked up early in the morning and depart to Shimba Rain forest for your most anticipated birding safari tour which will involve walking at some points. About 111 bird species have been recorded in this park, of which 22 are coastal endemic among them are: Ostrich Eagle, African Hawk; Falcon, Cuckoo; Guinea-fowl, Kenya Crested; Honey guide, Greater; Hornbill, Crowned; Quail, Blue; Sunbird, Uluguru etc. You will then check in at the Lodge and settle down for lunch before you depart for more birdwatching within the forest.

    • Dinner and overnight at Shimba Hills Lodge.

  • Tsavo East -2 hrs drive

    After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park for birding tour safari. Lunch at a stop-over restaurant their after you will spend the entire afternoon searching for birds around the park. Tsavo east is home to variety of birds, species likely to be seen throughout the year include; Hunters Sunbird, Golden-Bellied Starling, Tawny Eagle, White-Backed Vultures, Kori Bustard, Pale Chanting Goshawk, BateleurEagle, Red-Billed Hornbill, African Grey Hornbill, Whalberg's Eagle, Spotted-Eagle Owl, Taita Fiscal, Red & Yellow Barbet, D'Naurd's Barbet, Spot-Flanked Barbet, Fisher's Sparrowlark, Long-Billed Pipit, Rosy-Patched Bush Shrike and many among others.

    • Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

  • Tsavo East/Sabaki River - 3 hrs drive

    Early breakfast , depart with picnic box for Malindi with bird watching en route and exit the park through Sala Gate. Picnic lunch at a public area. A short visit to the Mouth of River Sabaki where a couple of birds species can be found. Proceed on for Watamu via Malindi town for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  • Arabuko Sokoke and Mida Creek - 30 min. drive

    Early breakfast then depart from the hotel with picnic box to Arabuko Sokoke for the day birding safari tour which will involve driving and walking tour safari. Arabuko is a great reserve for birdwatching and among the bird species includes Sokoke Pipit, Amani Sunbird, Fischers Turaco, Clarkes weaver, Golden Woodpecker among many many others. Lunch at a picnic area and a visit to Mida Creek which just near Arabuko Sokoke.

    • Depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon, drop off at your hotel.
