This 10-day tour is one of a kind and has won an award as the best tour to study Tanzanian culture, environment and social life. You will explore Tanzania, get involved with how the community lives and interacts, visit schools, markets, shops, towns, and local attractions. You will have an opportunity to meet unique, indigenous communities such as Maasai, Datoga and Hadzabe. Your tour will also take you to experience a taste of the bush on your wildlife safari.


  • Kilimanjaro International Airpoirt - Moshi Town

    You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and travel to Moshi Town. Moshi is in northern Tanzania, near the Kenyan border. Its known as a gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park and home to Africas highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

    Trails run up the mountain’s cloud-ringed, snow-capped dome, through alpine forests and meadows home to elephants and leopards. One of Tanzanias major coffee-producing hubs, Moshi is known for its coffee farms and auctions. You will check-in at the Altezza Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Moshi Town Tour - Machame Cultural Tour

    After breakfast you will meet your guide who will take you on the Moshi town tour where you will visit the local markets, the old train station, the Old Coffee Curing Station, and bus stations. This tour will give you an opportunity to learn about the contemporary culture in Moshi.

    Later in the evening you will check-out and travel to the Machame Nkweshoo Cultural Home Stay. You will spend 2 nights embarking on activities of the locals like farming, fetching water, and harvesting bananas and coffee. Later in the evening you will settle in for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Machame Cultural activities

    Embark on activities that the locals do everyday like going to farm, fetch water, fetching banana’s and coffee in the farms. Get involved into community work as well that is done there, Visiting schools and Kilimanjaro mountain view when sky is clear will be some of the highlight this day. Traditional food-Breakfast, Lunch and dinner are included.

  • Machame - Arusha National Park

    After breakfast you will check-out and then travel to Arusha National Park. Once you arrive at the gate you will go through registration and then embark on your first game drive in the park. The highlight here is the Ngurdoto Crater where your guide will take you to a safe viewing point. You will see a wide variety of birds, giraffe, zebra, elephant, leopard, hyena, warthog, dik dik, and waterbuck. It is hard to spot leopard and elephants. The black and white colobus monkey is frequently seen.

    A walking safari and boat cruise, at the Momella Lakes can be organized to enhance your day. The view of Mount Meru, when the sky is clear, is breathtaking. This natural, unfenced park is literally within a close distance from the town of Arusha. Later in the evening you will settle in at the Merves Hotel to dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Arusha - Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast you will check-out and drive to the Tarangire National Park. The park is very famous for its large herds of elephant and plenty of Baobab trees. The landscape is spectacular and very much worthy of a photographer’s, lense. Upon arrival you will embark on a game drive as well as a drive to Mto wa Mbu area outside the Lake Manyara National Park.

    In the dry season, Tarangire is an excellent park attracting an abundance of animals including lion, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, and wild dog. A wide variety of bird life can be seen as well. There are also good numbers of the illusive leopard roaming around the park. Flora and Fauna are excellent. Later in the evening you will check in at the Panorama Campsite, at the African Igloo, for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Lake Eyasi

    After breakfast you will check-out and drive to the Lake Eyasi. Today’s tour will take you to learn and visit the Datoga blacksmiths and how to make jewelry, arrows, tools, etc.. You will visit the Datoga family group, tour traditional homes, grind maize, build livestock hedge, talk with women (through a translator) and learn about their traditional dress. After this exciting tour you will check-in at the Tindinga Tented Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Highlands

    After breakfast you will embark on an exciting day; accompanied by a local guide who will introduce you to the Hadzabe Bushmen. You will then take off for food gathering and visit the places where they collect fruits and roots and find their water during the dry season. Your guide is very experienced and will interpret what you get to see and show you around the caves where the Hadzabe live.

    In the afternoon you will check-out of camp and depart for Karatu, where you will check-in at the Enyati Lodge. In the evening you will be accompanied by your guide for a Cultural walk tour and then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Ngorongoro Crater Floor

    After breakfast you will travel to visit the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, nicknamed the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This crater is Africa’s largest unbroken caldera and hosts a large variety of wildlife. You will descend to the crater floor for a once in a lifetime game drive, A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a specific spot by the Hippo pool.

    Ngorongoro Crater is home to elephant, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, lion, Black rhino, leopard, hyena, cheetah and other smaller cats. After this exciting safari you will ascend back up the crater and drive back to lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Ngorongoro Highlands - Lake Manyara National Park

    After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This astonishing park is considered an oasis in the Great Rift Valley; rich in wildlife and forest and very famous for its tree-climbing lion. There are an abundance of other animals and a variety of birds including the large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

    You will start with a walk on the famous tree top walking trail, Manyara Treetop Walkway. This trail takes you on a sky-high adventure through the beautiful forest of Lake Manyara where you will walk among the treetops and experience the untouched nature and wildlife from a truly unique perspective. You will also take part in an afternoon game drive before returning to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

    After breakfast you will check-out and drive to visit the Orkeeswa Secondary school. Later you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge and take part in the Shanga Tour and enjoy a late lunch. If time permits, you will also participate in the Cultural Center tour. At the end of your tours your guide will drive you to the airport in Arusha for your flight home. This is where your safari will end.
