• Day 1

  Pick up and drive Arusha to Tarangire National Park

  Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) if you arrive in the morning, or your selected pickup point or pre-accommodation. Taking a cultural drive out to Tarangire National Park where we will do your first game drive.

  Tarangire is most well known for its abundance of Elephants. Many animals flock here in the dry season due to Tarangire River never drying out.Overnight Tarangire your choice of inside or outside the park.

• Day 2

  Lake Manyara

  Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading through the gorgeous villages via the back entrance to Lake Manyara. Make sure you look up on this game drive as you might spot the famous tree climbing lions.

  Not to mention the monkeys you can see screeching down from the trees. Following a drive to Karatu, enjoy a hot shower and maybe a glass of wine whilst your tents and dinner is being organised. Swap safari stories with others staying at your campsite.Overnight Karatu.

• Day 3

  Karatu to Serengeti National Park

  Today is the drive to Serengeti National Park! On our way we can stop off at the historical Olduvai Gorge. An incredible geological site where some of the first human footprints are preserved, over 3.5 Million years old! Continue on to the Serengeti entrance for your first overnight in the Serengeti.

• Day 4

  Serengeti National Park

  Wake up to the Sound of the African Savannahs! Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out on a game drive through the Serengeti. Take a chance at spotting the Big 5!

  Return to camp for a hot lunch and afternoon rest before a twilight game drive. An Evening under canvas with wild animals roaming around you is an experience you will never forget.Overnight Serengeti.

• Day 5

  Ngorongoro Crater

  Early breakfast followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area. Descend the crater rim and take in the incredible views.

  Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor with multitudes of animals! You might stop off and enjoy your lunch while looking over the Hippo pond.Overnight Karatu.

• Day 6

  Lake Eyasi and Bushman Experience

  Lake Eyasi is a wild, scenically stunning area where you can get a real insight into the way some of Tanzanias fascinating tribes live. First stop is a visit to the Hadzabe tribe who are one of the last hunters and gatherers in the world. It is a hands-on experience where you can attempt to shoot the bow and arrows and go hunting for the days food. Following this, we can visit the blacksmith tribe. Watch and learn how they make the spears for the Hadzabe tribe as well as beautiful jewellery.Overnight Karatu.

• Day 7

  Mto wa Mbu to Arusha

  Drive through Mto Wa Mbu and visit the local villarges and markets. Try some delicious red bananas or take a Tour of the Banana Beer Factory. Followed by a drive back to Arusha, where we can drop you at the airport or your chosen post-accommodation (arranged at an extra cost).
