Fly Dar/ Ruaha
In the morning at 07h00 you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transferred to the airport. Your scheduled flight to Ruaha is at 08h30.At 10h05 you will arrive in Ruaha airstrip and picked up by camps driver guide.
You proceed for a morning game drive. The lunch will be prepared for you at 12h30 in the camp. After the lunch at 14h30 is the departure for an afternoon game drive in the park. In the end of this exciting first day you can enjoy your meal on the terrace of the camp and let the evening fade away.

Ruaha National Park
After a good rest you will have your breakfast at 07h00 before you depart for a boat safari on the river inside Ruaha.The Great Ruaha River is the lifeline of the Park, which courses along the eastern boundary in a flooded torrent during the height of the rains, but dwindling thereafter to a scattering of precious pools surrounded by a blinding sweep of sand and rock.
A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha and its seasonal tributaries, where, during the dry season, impala, waterbuck and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. On this boat safari you will have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon at 14h00 you proceed for a guided walk in the park. After this walk you end the day with the dinner and overnight in the camp.

Ruaha National Park
After the breakfast you start with a full day game drive in the Ruaha National Park. On this game drive you get the chance to see a high diversity of antelopes. Ruahas unusually high diversity of antelope is a function of its location, which is transitional to the acacia savannah of East Africa and the miombo woodland belt of Southern Africa.
A similar duality is noted in the checklist of 450 birds: the likes of crested barbet, an attractive yellow-and-black bird whose persistent trilling is a characteristic sound of the southern bush, occur in Ruaha alongside central Tanzanian endemics such as the yellow-collared lovebird and ashy starling. After that last eventful day you enjoy your dinner and the night at the camp.

Departure day
At 07h00 you will have breakfast in the camp and at 08h00 there will be the transfer to Ruaha airstrip for a scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. At 14h20 you arrive at the Dar es Salaam airport. You will be met and assisted to connect to your next destination.
