Description

The major highlight of this tour is gorilla tracking. The 3 days gorilla trek takes you to the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National park in southwestern Uganda to encounter the gorillas in their habitat. The tour is an adventure of life time that no one can afford to miss.

  • Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi

    The drive to Bwindi National Park will commence very early in the morning, immediately after breakfast. The drive will start off from Kigali, Rwanda and head to Uganda via Rwandas northern town of Musanze. You will then cross over into Uganda via the Cyanika border post. The journey should take about 4 hrs. Overnight at Golden Monkey Guest House in Kisoro town.

  • Gorilla Trekking

    The gorilla trekking adventure will begin with a briefing by the guide on how to handle yourself once you enter the home of the “endangered species”. The trip can take about 3 to 9 hours deepening on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. Get hold of your camera as you will be able to take lots of photos. This will be “a remarkable experience”!

  • Transfer to Kigali

    This is the final day of the tour. The day will start with breakfast and afterwards drive from Kisoro/Bwindi to Kigali. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, but its an enjoyable ride. We will also stop at the Uganda Rwanda boarder to clear with immigration and proceed to Kigali.
