• Day 1

  Arrival Day (Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport)

  Upon arrival at Mwalimu Nyerere International in Dar es Salaam, after all immigration formalities you will be met with Born Park Adventures Representatives/Tour Guide and transferred to Mediterrano Hotel.Tanzania is an ideal retreat for honeymooners, with special surprises during your stay. • Day 2

  Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

  Depart from Dar es Salaam to Selous-Siwandu Airstrip, you will be met by Representative and proceed for a short game drive and lunch at the camp. Followed by afternoon boat trip where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rufiji River with its many hippos, crocodiles and beautiful birdlife.

• Day 3

  Selous Game Reserve (Full Day)

  After breakfast, whole day available for excursions of your choice; choose between boat excursion, game drive or walking safari.Boat excursion-Selous is one of the very few game reserves in Africa where you can view game from the water and you have much higher chance of seeing a larger variety of wildlife inside the reserve than outside.Game drive- Selous is the largest wilderness reserve in Africa and hosts the largest elephant population in the world.

  You can expect to see any of the major African mammals including elephant, lions, leopard and others.Walking safari – walking in Game Reserve is fantastic way to learn more about the bush itself. Although you may see wildlife during the walk, the focus is also on the habitat that the animals live in, insects, trees and birdlife. Walks are accompanied by an armed ranger.Overnight at Lake Manze Camp (Full Board).

• Day 4

  Selous Game Reserve - Fanjove Private Island

  After breakfast at Lake Manze Camp, transfer to the airstrip for aircraft to Songo Songo. Arrive at Songo Songo at 1130hrs, meet and greet by the lodge representative and transfer to the jetty for a short boat ride to Fanjove Private Island.

  As the boat trundles closer to the island, and a swathe of deserted white sand grows ever larger in front of you, the true beauty of this secluded beach paradise becomes clear.Overnight at Fanjove Private Island (Full Board).

• Day 5

  Fanjove Private Island (Full Day)

  After breakfast, full day at leisure. Enjoy various water activities: diving, snorkeling, and fishing which can be organized on request.Fanjove Private Island is a remote and beautiful island in the Songo Songo Archipelago off southern Tanzania, with an untouched reef offering watersports and diving.Overnight at Fanjove Private Island (Full Board).

• Day 6

  Fanjove Private Island - Zanzibar Island (Hotel Verde)

  After breakfast, short boat ride to the jetty for aircraft to Zanzibar Island. Arrive in Zanzibar Island at 1420hrs, meet and greet by the Hotel representative and transfer to Hotel Verde for late lunch. Afternoon at leisure.Overnight at Hotel Verde (Bed and breakfast).

• Day 7

  Hotel Verde (Zanzibar)

  Morning at leisure, you can choose to visit the Stone town, or do a spice Tour, visit the ruins of Mtoni Palace, where the first Sultan of Zanzibar, Said bin Sayed, had his Harem, go swim with the Dolphins or Simply relax at the beach.Overnight at Hotel Verde (Bed and breakfast).

• Day 8

  Departure; Zanzibar - Dar es salaam (Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport)

  After breakfast you will be picked for your flight from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam and then international flight back home. Depending on your international flight back home, if time allow there is option of Fast Ferries from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam that will give you good experience of about 46 miles cruising on Indian Ocean and experiencing part of Dar es Salaam City when on the way to Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport – Bon Voyage and Karibu Tena.End of Tour.
