In this Green Safari you’ll stay in remote and beautiful safari accommodation including the comfortable Selous Kinga Lodge on the banks of the awesome Rufiji River, and on other lodges you will experience life under canvas. Also, under this Safaris you will experience different wild animals like African Elephant, Buffalo, Lions, Giraffes and birds of different types like Trumpeter hornbill.


  • Arival Day

    On arrival at Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport you’ll be met by your Born Park Adventures representative and transferred to the hotel in Dar es Salaam where you can relax and recover from your journey.

  • Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve

    After breakfast transferred to the airport and depart by chartered aircraft to Mtemere Airstrip. Lunch upon arrival at Selou Kinga Lodge. Afternoon you can enjoy boating safari. You will see plenty of hippos, crocodiles, and bird life with over 400 species.Dinner and overnight at Selou Kinga Lodge(Full board Included).

  • Selou Game Reserve (Game Drives & Walking Safaris)

    After breakfast, morning game drives in the Selous, Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, with an area of 54.600kms. Lunch at Selou Kinga Lodge. Afternoon walking safari in the Selous, which boast the world’s largest number of big game – elephant, buffalo, rhino, hippos, giraffes and wildebeest.Dinner and overnight at Selou Kinga Lodge (full Board Included).

  • Selous - Udzungwa Mountains

    After breakfast, departures for Udzungwa National Park via a scenic drive through the Uluguru Mountains to Mikumi (approx 7 hours) with picnic lunch. Late afternoon arrival at the Udzungwa with half-day hiking and bird-watching in the pristine rain forest (Optional).Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a national park in Tanzania with a size of 1,990 km². The habitats contained within the national park include tropical rainforest, mountain forest, miombo woodland, grassland and steppe.

    There is a vertical height range of 250–2,576 metres, which incorporates the Udzungwa Mountains part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. There are more than 400 bird species, 2500 plant species and 6 primate species. It has the second largest biodiversity of a national park in Africa.Dinner and overnight at Udzungwa falls Lodge (Full Board Included).

  • Udzungwa National Park (Hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains)

    After breakfast, spend a full-day hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains. Picnic lunch in the Mountains. Afternoon hiking and bird-watching in the rainforest towards the Sanje River Waterfall.Dinner and overnight at Udzungwa Falls Lodge (Full board Included).

  • Udzungwa – Mikumi National Park

    After breakfast, drive through the southern highlands to Mikumi National Park. Lunch at Mikumi safari Lodge. Afternoon games drive in Mikumi National Park.Mikumi National Park is lying just to the North of the famous Selous Game Reserve. Gazetted in 1964 covering an area of 1070 km2, it was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 km2.

    The park is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania, it Shares the name ‘Mikumi’ with the village just beyond its Western border of the Dar es Salaam – Iringa highway, which traverse the park for 50km. The small town in turn takes the name from the palm tree (Borassus spp.) which once grew there in profusion but no stem is visible in the villageDinner and overnight at Mikumi Safari Lodge (Full Board Included).

  • Mikumi NP – Ruaha National Park

    In the morning after breakfast we’ll drive to Ruaha National Park with picnic lunch, evening game drive (Optional). Ruaha National Park is home to the largest population of elephants in any East African natural reserve as well as many other animals and birds all attracted to the Great Ruaha River.Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge (Full Board Included).

  • Ruaha National Park

    After breakfast, morning game drives in Ruaha National Park with picnic lunch.Ruaha National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 square kilometres, making it the largest park in Tanzania and East Africa.Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hill Top Lodge (Full Board Included).

  • Ruaha National Park - Dar es Salaam

    After morning breakfast drive to Ruaha airstrip to catch up your booked flight back to Dar es salaam international airport.End of Tour
