Transfer to Bwindi National Park
In the Morning, you will be picked from Kampala at around 7.00 am and proceed to the south western part of the country. Stop at The equator for land mark photo taking and continue to Mbarara. Break for lunch at Agip Motel then precede to Bwindi National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas.
It is estimated to half of the worldÂ’s surviving population of mountain gorillas. The drive is long but enjoyable. Proceed south to Buhoma viewing the terraced hills of Kigezi Highlands once known as Switzerland of Africa.

After breakfast, set off for Kidepo by taking the northern route. From Kampala, you will drive via Karuma Bridge to Gulu town where you will have lunch as well. You will then proceed and have an overnight in Kitgum town. Overnight at Bomah Hotel on full board. Travel Time: Kampala -Gulu Town (4:30 Hours’ Drive), (Gulu – Kitgum Town) 2:30 Hours’ Drive.

Continue to Kampala with an enroute Rhino Tracking & Lunch
Wake up at your own pace, have breakfast and then leave for Kampala. But you will have an enroute Rhino Tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola district off Gulu-Kampala Highway. You will arrive at the rhino ranch late morning.
Spend 2 hours trekking rhinos and also have lunch here before continuing with your journey to Kampala where you will arrive in the evening. Accommodation: Cassia Lodge, Meal Plan: Full Board, Travel Time: (Gullu-Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary) 2: 30 hours’ drive (Ziwa-Kampala) 2:30 hours drive.

Game drive and boat ride
Early morning after your cup of tea or coffee you set off for a game drive to see more animals that are in the park, Animals expected include predators like lion, Leopard and other natives like Buffaloes, herds of Uganda Cobs, Topis, waterbucks and warthogs. The park is also a home of over 500 bird species, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers.
They include the black bee–eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors. Then in the afternoon depart for a boat ride at the channel. A channel that joins lake Edward and George here you will be able to see animals that comes to drink water and some other water natives like school of hippos and crocodiles.

Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast you will be driven to Kyambura gorge for Chimpanzee tracking while on nature walk. After Kyambura gorge for a primate walk where your will see chimps and other primates like Columbus and velvet monkeys and baboons walk out of the gorge to proceed to Kampala. Have a stop at the equator and take as many photos as possible for memories and after continue to Kampala.
