Trip highlights: • Stop over at the equator • Mountain Gorilla tracking • Community walk around the lodge • Game viewing in Lake Mburo national park. This is a relaxing trip where you will take your time on a safari without a rush. You will stop at the Equator where you will be able to be in 2 hemispheres at the same time. Then you will visit L. Mburo(Zebras), Bwindi Impenetrable Forest(Gorillas), Queen Elizabeth(Elephants, Kobs, Lions), Kibale Forest(Chimps).


  • Arrival

    Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where your adventure into the Pearl of Africa begins. Your guide will warmly welcome you and facilitate the seamless arrival formalities, Transfer to your hotel after which you will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have your money changed this day.

  • Transfer to Lake Mburo

    After breakfast, you will travel to L. Mburo National Park one of Uganda’s smallest parks, but certainly not to be underestimated. It is the only Ugandan national park (besides to Kidepo Valley NP) which is home to zebra, eland and impala, as well as an abundance of other wildlife - not to mention the lake itself, which is teeming with hippos and crocodiles!

    Last but not least: The Uganda Wildlife Authority recently brought 15 giraffes from Murchison falls to lake Mburo (1st July 2015)! You will stay just outside the park boundaries, but it will feel like being in the middle of the park. From your verandah and restaurant you have a great view over the park and its wildlife. Afternoon take a boat cruise on the lake

  • Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Impenetrable Forest

    Lake Mburo N.P. is one of two parks in Uganda where it is permitted to go for a bush walk with an experienced ranger. This opportunity should not be missed. From footprints and animal droppings the ranger will be able to tell you which animal has left it and how long ago.

    It is exciting to approach wildlife at such close range.Note: Instead of going for the bush walk, you can as well opt for a mountainbike safari ($20 pp extra for 2 hours) or going on a horseback riding safari in the park (US$ 90 pp extra for 2 hours). Will then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park.

  • Gorilla Trekking in the Dense Rain Forest

    After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point to embark on your Gorilla Trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in such of the awesome Gorillas – an unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Dont forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch and plenty of water.

    Once you find the gorillas, you will spend with them an hour before returning to your lodge. Time allowing; go for a community walk around the lodge at a supplement of $20 per person.

  • Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos.

    This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species.

  • Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

    Queen Elizabeth National Park¹s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.

    Have an early morning Game drive where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. Afternoon transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

  • Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

    After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape.

    It is also a home of species like the rare IHoests monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours. After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk.

  • Departure

    After breakfast transfer back to Kampala arriving in time to catch your flight back home.
