• Day1

  Nairobi

  You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi at 0730hrs and depart for the dramatic, semi-arid scrub land of the northern Kenyan frontier. You will arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and then embark on an afternoon game drive.

  Look out for resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx and the blue-necked Somali ostrich (which are rarely found elsewhere in the country). Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Wilderness Lodge/Sopa lodge.

• Day2

  Samburu Game Reserve

  You will spend the full day exploring Samburu National Reserve. Highlights here include its spectacular plains, rivers and forests. This is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage.

  The reserve also has numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife, including leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra and crocodile. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Wilderness Lodge/Sopa lodge.

• Day3

  Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru (a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley), arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive and have opportunity to spot leopards, rhino and the famous pink flamingos – in addition to a variety of other wildlife.

  Indeed, Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge or a similar lodge

• Day4

  Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara Game Reserve

  After breakfast you will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve– the vast land of migrating animals. You will arrive in time for lunch and then soon after depart on a thrilling afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
