• Day 1

  Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

  You will be met upon your arrival in the airport and transported (approx 7 min drive) to your Hotel in Arusha. At the Hotel you can relax and regain energy for the coming days of adventures. The hotel offers massages or you can just enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool.

• Day 2

  Arusha - Tarangire National Park

  After breakfast we drive to Tarangire National Park (Approx. 3,5 hour drive). You will be served a picnic lunch. The park offers a large wildlife population and is especially renowned for its large elephant population. It is also possbile to see the migration which takes place from December to April and the Big Five all also visit the area. Maramboi Tented Camp is close to Lake Manyara which is only a 10 minute drive by car from Tarangire National Park.

• Day 3

  Tarangire - Karatu

  We start the day with a game drive safari in the Tarangire Park. Later in the day, we drive to the next destination (approx 2 hour drive) where we overnight in Karatu (20 minutes drive from Ngorongoro’s gate). The Ngorongoro Farm House hotel is build on a 500 acre coffee plantation and gives the atmosphere of past times as a colonial style plantation farm house.

• Day 4

  Ngorongoro - Serengeti (Central)

  This day we drive to Ngorongoro crater(approx 20mins); after registration at the gate, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and drive for about 60minutes before entering the descending gate of the Crater. Game drives safari in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor.

  This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, and many more animals. Later in the day we drive to Serengeti for overnight and dinner. The camp resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa but with all the commodities of today.

• Day 5

  Serengeti

  On this day you will have a full day in the Serengeti to enjoy game drives safari exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. We stay this night as well at the Kati Kati Tented camp.

• Day 6

  Serengeti - Lake Eyasi

  Morning game drive safari in the Serengeti before driving to Lake Eyasi with lunch boxes for dinner and overnight. At Lake Eyasi you will be staying at beautiful hotel located on the slopes with a overview of the lake. The lakes is is a seasonal shallow salt water lake where different animals can be located depending on the season in which your visit.

• Day 7

  Lake Eyasi - Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport/ Departure

  Early after breakfast you will visit the nomadic, hunter-gatherer Hadza Bushmen for a hunting trip (approx 2-3hrs walking hunting trip) The Hadza Bushmen hunt game – everything from small birds and rodents, to giraffes, buffalo and larger monkeys are hunted whenever an opportunity arises. For those who can’t participate into such a walk, there is activity for just a short walking safari in the area and/or wait for the others at the Camp.

  After the hunting trip, we will visit Datoga (blacksmith) village in the area for seeing/exploring on how they make arrow heads, necklaces, etc. We will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Airport Planet Lodge where we will stop to freshen up before proceeding to the airport for your evening/night flight back home.
