• Day 1

  Arrival in Uganda

  Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport and you will be welcomed by your safari guide. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have an optional city tour of Entebbe town. Entebbe was the colonialists’ administrative center and has many buildings that date over half a century ago. You may also choose to visit Entebbe botanical gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education centre (Entebbe Zoo).

• Day 2

  Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, game drive

  You will depart very early in the morning and start a full day’s drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth national park boasts of a high diversity of flora, fauna and birds.

  Along the way you will stop at the equator for photo opportunities and proceed to the park. You will arrive in time to have your first game drive in the park.

• Day 3

  Morning chimp trekking, afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel

  Early morning you will depart to Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabe NP where visitors can climb through tropical forest and catch a glimpse of a variety of primates, including chimpanzee, black-and-white colobus, vervet and olive baboons in the gorge.

  After lunch you will proceed for a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The bird life is colorful and abundant.

• Day 4

  Drive to Bwindi national park via Ishasha game drive

  After breakfast you will start your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park – the home of Mountain Gorillas in Uganda. You will pass via Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will have a game drive in search of tree climbing lions.

  You will be led by a ranger guide to maximize your chances of encountering this spectacular moment. You will arrive at your accommodation near Bwindi national park in the evening and rest as you prepare for Gorilla trekking.

• Day 5

  Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

  Begin your gorilla trek in the early morning, and set off into the tangled and mist-shrouded forests with guides and trackers who are very experienced at locating the gorillas by finding the nest the family had used the previous night. Watching gorillas in their natural habitat is a memory that will last a lifetime.

  The experienced ranger guides will willingly share with you a lot of information about history and lifestyle of the Gorillas. After spending an hour with the gorillas we head back to the lodge and relax. You may also choose to do an optional community visit around the park.

• Day 6

  Return to Entebbe and departure

  Early in the morning you will start your journey back to Entebbe stopping for lunch enroute. Expect to arrive back in the city in the early evening after a quick but exhilarating summary tour of Uganda. You will catch your departure flight to your next destination.
