While the spotlight of this safari is on the big cats and the great migration we will also see and photograph the staggering diversity of Wildlife on a daily basis. The Tour then moves to the far north of the Serengeti with fantastic opportunity for stunning landscape Photography and continuing the search for cats among the magical kopjes. The Serengeti holds one of the greatest concentrations of big Cats anywhere in Africa. On this fantastic Tour and finishing up flying back to Arusha.


  • Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our VIP Visa Specialist will meet and welcome you to East Africa. He guide you through the entire Tanzania Visa application process and skipping long immigration queues. With Galloping Safaris, you will be escorted from arrival to departure, making your arrival to Tanzania completely worry-free.

    Upon exiting the airport, a Galloping Safaris representative will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45-60 minutes) for the Serenity retreat of Lake Duluti Lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Tarangire National Park – Game drive - Sundowner + Cocktails

    Depart 08h30 from Arusha with 4x4x and drive to Tarangire National Park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time Of the year. Viewing some of Tanzanias largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the Dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the stretch of Tarangire river. More game Drive until end of the day you drive to Sanctuary Swala Camp for dinner and overnight.

    However it is the pure delight and sheer pleasure of Tree Tops that will remain with you for years to come, and will keep you returning, if only in spirit, to this delightfully dreamlike lodge. Sunset Hill is the perfect locations to sit atop and enjoy the deep orange sunsets that often welcome in the starry skies. With food and drinks served by one of the staff, this is truly a magical experience not to be missed.

  • Tarangire National Park – Guided walk - Night Game drive

    Sunrise guide walk in Tarangire start your day refreshed as you watch the bush come to life from the Private deck of your tent. There is no better way to up close and personal to the wild than to take a walking safari. Feels the ancient earth beneath every step you take as you tread on the tracks of animals that have walked the same path minutes before. This afternoon you have time to take a Refreshing or relax on your private deck with a cool drink and gaze out to the waterhole watching as the game lazily Congregates in the shade to escape the midday sun.

    As the afternoon progresses you may like to return to Tarangire for an Afternoon game drive dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Swala Camp Head out for Night game drive around the Savannah grassland that will takes you to encounter nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards, porcupines, civet cats, white tailed mongoose, aardvarks and cape hares. Night game drive is one of the most popular and exciting activity on safari.

  • Lake Manyara National Park – Game drive - Sundowner

    Early morning guided walk on Manyara Ranch escorted with an armed ranger and return to the camp for late breakfast Leave the Ranch with morning game drive as you exit ecosystem and drive the short distance to Manyara for morning wildlife viewing at Lake Manyara National Park, a unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views.

    Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife including lions, baboons and countless varieties of birds. With picnic lunches within inside the park. Continue with afternoon game drive and later drive to the Lush retreat of The Plantation Lodge for dinner and overnight-Coffee House Suite.

  • Ngorongoro Crater AfricaÂ’s “Garden of Eden”

    Early breakfast and drive the short distance to Ngorongoro Loduare gate and today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the Wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest Animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting.

    As very Few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, Hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted During one game drive only. Drive back to The Plantation Lodge for guided walk around the farm & coffee plantation or Relax at the retreat- Coffee House Suite.

  • Olduvai George – Central Serengeti to see Big Cats & Large Mammals

    Breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. A brief visit en route to Olduvai Gorge which is often referred to as The Cradle of Mankind and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world. Picnic lunch in the park. Proceed to Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

    We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengetis species. Dinner and overnight at Four Season Safari Lodge- Horizon room upper level with a view the watering hole that is close to the lobby.

  • Central Serengeti to see Mammals & Big cats

    Begin your sunrise safaris and return for late breakfast at 09h00. Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain. The Serengeti is located along the rift valley and is abound with geological formations. These exposed rock forms “kopjes” are round as a result of spherical wind weathering.

    These rich grass plains a result of ash deposited by volcanic eruptions, and is home to 3 million animals. Within these grass plains the scattered kopjes act as a heaven for animals from grass fires, predators and the heat. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopards and Lions. Return for dinner and overnight at Four Season Safari Lodge.

  • Northern OR Southern Serengeti to see the Wildebeest Migration

    Early breakfast, today we start with another game drive through the Southern or Northern Serengeti and head to the Mara River, time to watch the wildebeest migration as the dominated by the Mara River, groaning with crocs and hippos, this area is great for elephant, big herds buffalo, lion, cheetah as well as leopard in the many kopjes that make this landscape so distinctive.

    Also look out for small Oribi which thrives in this area, but is otherwise extremely scarce in northern Tanzania generally. Sunset game drives to Olakira Camp for dinner and overnight..

  • Northern OR Southern Serengeti to see the Wildebeest Migration

    Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Northern corridor of Serengeti National Park, where you can often see wildebeest and large numbers of lions and cheetahs, as well as herds of giraffe and zebra – a most unforgettable spectacle of Africa’s circle of life, right before your eyes!

    Equally impressive are Tanzania’s magical sunsets, which out here are celebrated at traditional “sundowners”… like those you’ll enjoy at your lodge on your final night on safari, followed by a festive farewell dinner.. Dinner and overnight at Olakira Camp.

  • Northern OR Southern Serengeti – Flight to Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport

    Early start today for an early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light or breakfast at the camp, and morning go on your final game drive in Serengeti. Keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, transfer to Serengeti Airstrip in time for Flight to Arusha Airport.

    Flight depart Serengeti Airstrip at 10h00, arrive Arusha Airport at 12h30. Met on arrival and transfer to Arusha for Lunch at Shanga House River... Guided Coffee walk and drive to Mount Meru Resort for. Afternoon relax at the pool longue and garden. (If you need a day room for taking shower or resting you have to pay direct US$80). Later transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport in time for check in for departure flight.
