A 3 Days Gombe Chimps Tracking is a beautiful and unique adventure as it is among the few places in the world where chimpanzee can be seen in their Natural habitat. Till this time there are no roads established to Gombe National Park so visitors can only reach the park by boat.

Among the attractions for Gombe Stream National Park is the Chimpanzees, beautiful landscapes and the Kakombe water falls. Each day you will trek into the forest to observe these animated primates at play.

  • Fly Dar-es-Salaam to Kigoma then Gombe Nat Park

    Pick up and transfer to Dar airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma 09h05 Arrive at Kigoma airport. Pick up on arrival and transfer to Ujiji Town, visit Dr. Livingstone memorial center before transfer to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe.

    Pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp, 14h00 hot lunches at the camp. Afterwards proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe Stream’s main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected in the park’s boundaries.

    Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. Val vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs and dik dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. Dinner and overnight Tanapa Rest house. F/B.

  • Gombe Stream

    On 08h30, Start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest, Gombe became well known for the conservation project started from Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe on 1960.

    Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, like velvet, Colobus monkeys and baboons, Climb to Jane’s peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls if time allows. Meals and overnight at Tanapa Rest house. F/B.

  • Gombe to Kigoma/ fly back to Dar-es-salaam

    Morning after breakfast, pick up and transfer by boat back to Kigoma town. Pick up on arrival and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Dar-es-salaam.
