Description

Combining safari in Mikumi with mountain hiking in Udzungwa, this Tour is perfect for the long weekend out of Dar es Salaam. This Tour can be fully tailored according to preferences. Departure may for instance be mid day on the first day (12 oclock at the lastest), to accommodate for Friday workers, but note that traffic increases towards the afternoon.

  • Early morning drive from Dar es salaam to Mikumi national park via Morogoro town for lunch

    We pick you up from your home or hotel in Dar es salaam depart for Mikumi national park in the early morning, passing by Morogoro town for lunch.

    Arrival in Mikumi in the late afternoon and progress with a game viewing in the park until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian.

  • Full day game drive in Mikumi national park

    Early morning after breakfast, you will depart for a full day game viewing in the Mikumi national with picnic lunch box until sunset.

    Mikumi features large numbers Giraffes and Zebras and other species such as lions, impalas, elephants, birds, buffalos and many others. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian.

  • Udzungwa Mountain national park - Dar es salaam

    After early breakfast, 45 min drive to Udzungwa national park and progress with a trekking to Sanje waterfalls and experience the spectacular natural beauty of the park by swimming in the natural pond of Sanje waterfalls. After late lunch, drive back to Dar es salaam.
