  • Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Kampala

    At Entebbe airport you will be welcomed by our driver and taken to the Hotel. From Entebbe to Kampala is about one hour drive, depending on the traffic! If you arrive at night the traffic off course will be less. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the staff at the Hotel.

  • Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi

    Goodmorning! Today you will head straight to Lake Bunyonyi, to go and meet the Mountain Gorillas! The journey will take you south, across the equator where you will have a brief stop-over for a picture and a snack. You will stop for Lunch after about 4 hours near the town of Mbarara. The journey will take about 7 to 8 hours.

  • Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

    After an early breakfast you will drive to the briefing point wherby you wil be briefed by the park rangers, the drive is about one hour from amasiko. After the briefing it is time to start your search for the Mountain Gorillas!

    The duration of the tracking is hard to tell. It depends on the weather, how far are the Gorillas, the physical condition of the participants ect etc. On average a tracking takes about 2 to 4 hours.

  • To Queen Elizabeth National Park including tree-climbing lions of Ishasha

    Today you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. it wil be a 4 tot 5 hour drive meandering through the mountains towards the plains of Queen Elizabeth national Park. On your way tehre will be a game drive through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth: Ishasha. This part of the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions.

  • Game drive and boatride on Kazinga Channel

    The day will start with an early game drive to try and find the animals of the night. There are a few pides of lions in the park, the best change to see them is early in the morningAround 2 PM you will start the boatride on Kazinga Channel. After the 3 hour boatride you will go to the Bush Lodge and have dinner.

  • Morning game drive and Rwenzori Mountains

    After breakfast you will do another morning game drie in the park, on your way to the Rwenzori Mountains. The game drive will end around 11 AM. Ruboni Camp is located on the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains. here you wil find some time to relax and enjoy the beauiful scenery.

  • Relax or take a walk in the Mountains

    Today you will have some time to relax. It is also possible to do a village walk up into the mountains with one of the local guides. Ruboni camp is a community based camp. The local guide can tell you everything about the Rwenzoris and how the people live.

  • Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp

    After visiting the mountains we will continue to Kibale Forest National park. A huge rain forest with an abundance of wildlife. The main reason why peole come here is to meet our closes relative: The Cimpnzee! But as you will son find out, Kibale has so much more to offer! After checking in and having enjoyed lunch you will go to Bigodi Swamp for a guided tour.

  • Chimp tracking and top of the world

    Today is time for tracking the Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest national park. It will take several ours and it all depends on the number of Chimps and the weather. After the tracking you wil go for ahike to the highest point, overlooking the crater lakes of Kibake national park.

  • To Murchison Falls National Park

    This day will be a day of travel from Kibale to Murchison Falls National Park. the journey will atek about 5 to 7 hours depending on the road conditions. You will enjoy the scenery on the way. In the late afternoon you will arrive at Red Chilli rest camp where you can check in and relax while having dinner.

  • Game drive, boatride and hike to top of the falls

    The day will start early and you can take your packed breakfast in the vehicle. After crossing the Nile with the ferry it is time to spot the animals! Murchison falls has the largest number of Rotschild Giraffe among many other lage mammals.

    In the delta you will probably find many ot hem, and hopefully some of the predators i.e. the lion and leopard. The game drive will end around 11 AM. After crossing the Nile again you wil have time for lunch and you can prepare for the boatride on the mighty river Nile!

  • Travel to Kidepo

    Today will be a travel day. Leaving Murchison Falls behind you and going all the way North to the most remote and most beautiful National Park in Uganda: Kidepo Valley National park. After leaving Murchison Falls you will drive via Gulu and Kitgum, where you will stop for lunch. You will arrive in the village off Karenga in the late afternoon.

  • Game drive in Kidepo Valley

    Since Kidepo wakes up almost an hour earlier then the rest of Uganda we will as well wake up at 06.00 AM today. After a cup of coffee or tea we will drive in about 15 minutes to the park entrance which is 8km from Buffalo Base. There you will be able to see all types of Wildlife. As a bonus you can enjoy the excpetional scenery. Lunch will be enjoyed at the UWA banda;s in the park, where after you will go for an another game drive in the park.

  • The IK people are related to the original tribes living in Kidepo Valley NP. After they left the park they went to live on top of the Morungole mountians. A hike to the top is not only an exceptional experience it aslo make you feel what it is like to live in such a remote area! From Buffalo base it is about 2,5 hours drive to the starting point. The Hike will take about 2 hours going up and about 45 minute coming down. After the hike you wil drive to Kotido and spend the night in a banda at Kar

    Karamoja Arts Budget banda located in or near Mount Morungole

  • Visit Nakipelemoru and slide down the sliding rock

    Kotido is the home of the Jie, one of the most traditional living Karamajong tribes. During the time of catle raides they where known for their courage and fearless batles. Many f them live in the largest Manyata ( village) of East Africa: Nakipelemoru. A collection of hundreds of homestays.

    Today you will pay a visit to this village and meet some of the people, this activity is one of the income generating projects in Karamoja and the communities benefit from your visit. At the end of the day you will go to an ancient slide, the sliding rock where you can enjoy the sunset and a drink.

  • Travel to Sipi Falls

    Full day of travel from Kotido to Sipi falls. You will arrive in the late afternoon. The day will pass through a large part of karamoja on dusty roads and crossing Pian Upe wildlife reserve. After this long journey you will arrive at Lacam Lodge where you will enjoy dinner.

  • Hike to the falls and Coffee tour

    After a good nights rest you will hike to the top of the Sipi Falls. Climbing up you will enjoy the scenery and maybe have a dive in the natural pool. After lunch there will be a visit planned to one of the coffee farmers. Coffee from Mount Elgon is one of the most apreciated in the world.

  • To Jinja, the source of the Nile

    A full day of driving to Jinja, where the source of the Nile can be found. You are leaving the dusty roads behind and slowly entering the green belt of Uganda again! On the banks of the river Nile you will spend the night in a Safari Tent overlooking the river Nile.

  • Relaxing on the Nile

    Today is a day to relax, you can just sit at the poolside or choose to go horseback riding or take a spin on the shores of the Nile on a Quad bike. If you are a thrill seeker you can opt for a half - or full day rafting! You can discuss with your guide what you prefer to do. At the end of the day you can go for a sundwoner at the source of the Nile!

  • To Kampala

    Today will be your last full day in Uganda, from Jinja to kampala is about 2 hours drive. After checking in at the guesthouse you will have some time to do some shopping or just relax! An optional activity could be swimming or visiting a traditional dance and music group.

  • End of the Adventure an dback to Entebbe

    After breakfast you will go to Entebbe to prepare for your flight back home.
