• Day 1

  Kigali-Nyungwe Forest national park

  On arrival to Rwanda at the airport, you will be welcomed by our ever cheerful staff that will to Nyungwe forest national park where you will spend the night in various places that are available. You will get to choose one of your choice but we have chosen the Mid range hotel Nyungwe Top View.

• Day 2

  Chimpanzee Tracking and nature walk

  After an early warm breakfast, you will be taken to the headquarters of Nyungwe forest national park. Here you will be briefed and assigned a game ranger to guide you as you track chimpanzees. Heading out the sight will make your heart melt. Chimpanzees are not the only thing you will get to see.

  Bird watching is so amazing with the many birds spread in the forest that keep competing for who has the better bird song. Monkeys in the forest should not surprise you and their cheerful and ever happy character will just keep you happy and amazed. Twin lakes can also be seen as you walk through the canopy. DonÂ’t forget to come along with your camera as you may want to take along with you the sights of the tracking which people back home will envy you about.

• Day 3

  Transfer to Kinigi

  After breakfast you will set off for this long journey. Expect to see various interesting things on your way and then you will arrive in Kinigi where Volcanoes national park is. Here you will dine and rest in one of RwandaÂ’s most sophisticated lodges. Some of these include; Gorilla Nest Lodge, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge as well as La Palme Hotel. Make sure you rest enough for day four.

• Day 4

  Gorilla Trekking & Tour on the Twin Lakes

  You will have to be at the Volcanoes park headquarters as early as 7:30am therefore you need to wake up early and have breakfast because you need enough energy stored up. You will be briefed, assigned a guide and a gorilla family that you will visit. You will then head out to the tracking trails to begin this thrilling climb on the slopes of the volcano. Depending on the family you were attached to, this might take from 1 hour to couple of hours.

  These animals have a very close likeness to humans and you will be amazed to see some of the things these creatures can do. In the afternoon you will be taken to tour the twin lakes including lake Burera and lake Ruhondo. This will be followed by very tasty dinner before heading back to your lodge.

• Day 5

  Return to Kigali Kigali

  The destination for a day 5 of visit will tour the city and different exciting places. These range from the local markets to museums, genocide memorial sites, art and craft center where you will get the opportunity to buy some interesting items. You will later check-in in a hotel for dinner and also stay there for the night.

• Day 6

  Tour in Akagera National Park

  You will be driven east of Rwanda to the headquarters of the park where you will be briefed. While there you will have a boat ride on Lake Ihema where water loving wild game will be waiting for you. Out sized crocodiles, African fish eagle, hippos as well as water birds like the papyrus Gonolek and the shoebill stork are some of the animals you will see. Accommodation is available at the park and you will get to choose where you would like to spend the night. It is here that you will rest and also get something for your taste buds.

• Day 7

  Game Drives and departure from Akagera

  We shall have a morning game drive after breakfast before heading for Kigali. Rewarding views of the animals like impala, elephants, hippos, black-tailed mongoose, oribi, antelope, bushbuck, cape eland, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, vervet monkey, olive baboon and bush babies is the perfect send off you can ever get. Later you will return to your lodge for a quick lunch then you will be driven back to Kigali where you will get your flight or spend the night before you leave the following day.
