• Day 1

  Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

  Wake up early in the morning and be picked up by our professional driver guide from your hotel of choice in Kampala or Entebbe after you are done with breakfast. He will first give you a briefing on the entire tour prior setting off to Bwindi, southwest of Uganda for your long awaited adventure. You will take the Kampala-Masaka route and en route, visit the local drum and craft making community and make another stopover at the Equator for photo taking and purchasing some crafts and souvenirs.

  After, set off to Mbarara town for lunch at Igongo cultural center and then proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On arrival, you will check in at your favorite safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chameleon Hill Lodge or Buhoma Lodge-Luxury, Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp or Rushaga Gorilla Camp-Budget, Gorilla Mist or Silverback Lodge-Mid range.

• Day 2

  Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, the

  Batwa visit in the evening Early in the morning you will have breakfast and thereafter, join other visitors at your respective tracking sector for briefing on dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking. You will be assigned one habituated gorilla group to track in a group of eight visitors and a guide. The trek lasts for about 1 to 8 hours depending on your speed, location of gorilla families a& nature of the habitat. Up on getting your gorilla group, you will spend an hour with these amazing wild creatures, take as many pictures as you can, explore their behavior and body gestures as the guide will also be interpreting them to you.

  After, return to the lodge to have a rest & then embark on Batwa community walk to explore more on cultures of these dramatic human creatures who lived in the forest for over 25000 years, be entertained by their traditional dances, music performances, stories and others. Thereafter, return to your lodge for dinner and night stay.

• Day 3

  Drive back to Kampala

  Breakfast early in the morning and then check out ready to embark on a return journey to Kampala while catching a glimpse at the beautiful hills and terraces in and around the areas and then have lunch in Mbarara. Have a stopover at Mpambire drum makers where you will purchase some crafts for your memories and then proceed to Kampala and this marks the end of your 3 days gorilla safari.
