The 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking tour offers you a chance to trek gorillas in the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park that covers an area of about 321 square kilometers. The Bwindi Forest features among the ancient forests which date about 25000 years and your three days gorilla tour offers you a golden opportunity to trek one of its many habituated mountain gorilla families in the area of Buhoma.

  • Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    On your early morning arrival to Entebbe international airport, you will be received and briefed for the journey and next flight to Bwindi impenetrable. On arrival, at Kihihi airstrip, you will be transferred to chameleone hill lodge for relaxation and overnight.

  • Mountain gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    Early in the morning you will have breakfast and thereafter, join other visitors at Buhoma tracking sector for briefing on dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking. You will be assigned one habituated gorilla group to track in a group of eight visitors and a guide. The trek lasts for about 1 to 8 hours depending on your speed, location of gorilla families and nature of the habitat. Up on getting your gorilla group, you will spend an hour with these amazing wild creatures, take as many pictures as you can, explore their behavior and body gestures as the guide will also be interpreting them to you.

    After, return to the lodge to have a rest and then embark on Batwa community walk to explore more on cultures of these dramatic human creatures who lived in the forest for over 25000 years, be entertained by their traditional dances, music performances, stories and others. Thereafter, return to your lodge for dinner and night stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge.

  • Flight back to Entebbe international airport

    Breakfast early in the morning and then check out ready to embark on a return to Entebbe international airport. end of your 3 days gorilla safari.
