• Day 1

  Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  Following breakfast early in the morning, you will be picked by our experienced driver guide at 6:30 am who will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a four wheel drive car. The drive takes you via the spectacular countryside to western Uganda, have a stopover at the Equator photo taking with one of your leg in the southern hemisphere while the other will be in the northern hemisphere. Interestingly, you will even conduct water experiments to determine the geographical divide between the 2 (two) hemispheres.

  You can also pay a visit to a nearby craft center at the site and buy some souvenirs for your own memories. After, proceed & have another stopover at Igongo cultural center about 12 kilometers to Mbarara town where you will have lunch. At Igongo never miss to have a taste of African dish at a popular Kahwa Kanuzire restaurant. After, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner & overnight.

• Day 2

  Go for morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel

  Have breakfast in the morning and then set off for your early morning game drive at around 7:00am along Kasenyi sector. On game drive, you will look out wildlife species such as bush bucks, lions, spotted hyenas, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, leopards as well as bird species like African white backed vulture, palm nut vulture, hooded vulture, brown snake eagle, lappet faced vulture, Rupell’s griffon vulture, martial eagle, grey kestrel, long created eagle, African crake, black bellied bustard, temminck’s courser, crowned plover, African wattled plover, Senegal plover & many more.

  After, return to the lodge for lunch and then head for yet another exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga channel at 2:00pm. On boat cruise, you get a chance to spot out the Nile crocodiles, hippos and bird species such as the yellow billed stork, kingfishers, African skimmers and others. On return, you will sight at some of the wildlife species and then have dinner & overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

• Day 3

  Drive back to Kampala

  Following breakfast in the morning, you will embark on quick morning game drive to spot out the rare tree climbing lions and other wildlife that you missed to see in the previous day. Thereafter, return journey to Kampala and you will have lunch in Mbarara and a stopover at Equator where you will purchase souvenirs in the nearby craft shop. After, you drive back to Kampala.
