The journey to volcanoes national park, the home of mountain gorillas takes you through beautiful scenery of winding roads. Gorilla trekking is an amazing experience. You will get to spend up to one hour with gorillas, and get within five feet of a Gorilla.

  • Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes national park

    On arrival at Kigali international airport you will be welcomed by a Kagera Safaris representative and transferred to your lodge adjacent to the Volcanoes national park. Enjoy the 2 hour drive in the winding roads across several hills that make up Rwanda.

  • Gorilla Tracking

    Today track the gorillas in their natural habitats of the Virunga. Tracking gorillas lasts 1 hour to 6 hours depending on their location. The experience being face to face with gorillas is unforgettable.This marks the end of your safari, your guide will transfer you to Kigali to return to your hotel or take your flight.
