This tour is designed to offer visitors with two free days on their hands the chance to hike Mount Kilimanjaro and visit Tarangire National Park. This brief but unforgettable African wildlife safari is a great way to get a taste of the area without making an extensive time commitment

  • Mount Kilimanjaro

    After an early morning breakfast you will make your way with a packed lunch in hand to the Materuni waterfall, which is located in Moshi town at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will then spend two to three hours hiking the foothills. The hike takes you through beautiful beautiful banana and coffee plantations, rainforests and other flora and fauna.

    You will walk through the Chagga people’s villages and learn how to prepare local coffee and banana brew – a truly outstanding cultural experience. Later we will drive back to Arusha town for your overnight stay at the Arusha Backpackers hostel.

  • Tarangire National Park

    You will be picked up at your hostel at 7:30am and then make your way to Lake Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. In the evening you will head back to Arusha and be dropped off at your chosen accommodations or Kilimanjaro Airport to connect with your flight home.
