Description

This 6-day safari takes you to all major wildlife parks of Northern Tanzania. We visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and also include Olduvai Gorge. For this accommodated safari, we make use of mid-range lodge accommodation situated either in National Parks, on the banks of a river, or in other places of interest and some of them have swimming pools!

  • Arusha - Tarangire National Park

    You will be collected from your Hotel in Arusha and we will travel towards Tarangire National Park, where we stop for lunch and afterwards, our first game drive of the safari!Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephant, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebra.

  • Manyara National Park

    We head towards Lake Manyara National Park for an early morning game drive.This spectacular national park is located at the north-western corner of Lake Manyara, a shallow soda lake, which lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Manyara NP is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos, but also for the elusive tree climbing lions.

  • Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast we drive up the Rift Valley escarpment towards the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. A spectacular drive up the crater wall leads us to the magnificent wildlife sanctuary, where we spend several hours exploring the floor of the crater. After lunch we depart from the crater and head for the Serengeti National Park, game driving along the way.

  • Serengeti National Park

    An early start sees us heading out after breakfast for a game drive in the magnificent Serengeti National Park. With a picnic lunch provided, we will go ahead with game drives throughout the afternoon in the endless plains spotting many animals and truly realizing just why this National park is so famous.In the late afternoon we drive back to the lodge for an overnight.

  • Serengeti National Park - Olduvai – Karatu

    Today we retrace our steps with a morning game drive through the Serengeti followed by a Picnic Lunch. We then continue our game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En-route we visit Olduvai Gorge museum and we end our day in Karatu for our overnight stay at the beautiful Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

  • Karatu – Arusha

    After breakfast we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards we head to Arusha where the Tour will end at your hotel in Arusha. We hope to welcome you again on one of our African adventures!
