Description

We begin with the highlight of the tour- Chimpanzee tracking or Chimpanzee Habituation experience in Kibale National Park. This is followed by a game drive and hot spring visit in Semuliki National Park in the western side of the Rwenzori. Game drive at Queen Elizabeth National Park comes next for wildlife and boat safari. We then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Gorilla tracking & Batwa experience. Finally, we end our tour at Lake Bunyonyi for the much-awaited Canoe Trekking.


  • Pick Up at The Airport and Drive to Kampala

    Your Guide picks you Up from the Airport to Forest Cottages an inspiring destination for nature lovers and eco tourists alike.   • Drive To Kibale Forest

    Your guide will pick you up early in the morning and provide briefing on your upcoming safari. We then proceed to a rich tropical forest in Uganda, Kibale National park. The park provides shelter to roughly around 70 mammal species including chimpanzees, as well as over 375 species of birds.In the afternoon, we go for a walk at Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary where you can see primate species, and reptiles among other interesting mammals. Bird lovers will enjoy sightings of over 200 bird species, set amid varieties of lush trees, shrubs and vines.

  • Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to Semiliki Natinal park

    Tracking chimpanzees is a unique experience that makes Safari in Uganda at par with its neighboring East African countries. There is nothing more exotic than starring in a real African jungle adventure. You get the real Ugandan atmosphere as you move through the bushes and watch the Chimps swing through the steady branches.

    If you can’t get enough, you may opt to do the habituation experience, which means you can spend the whole day with these amazing creatures. In the afternoon, guests doing the Chimpanzee Tracking will continue to Semuliki National Park.

  • Wild Life Viewing and Hot springs

    Today’s activity begins with a game drive where you will not only see a number of wildlife but also witness various species of birds native to Central Congo. Semuliki National Park is home to a number of exotic Central African wildlife and Batwa pygmy community.

    This provides a taste of Central Africa without having to leave Uganda. Afterwhich, we go on a short walk and arrive to see the Sulphur hot spring in a hot mineral encrusted swamp. The Mumbuga erupting spring resembles a fountain with its 0.5m high perpetual sprout, receiving its heat from the deep faults of East African Rift System.

  • Game Drive and Kazinga Chanel

    We will set out for a real Ugandan African adventure traversing through the bushes of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park previously known in 1952 as Kazinga National Park was later on renamed to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II.

    Here you can see hippos, leopards, elephants, lions, and Chimpanzees among other 95 species of mammals and over 500 species of birds.In the afternoon, we proceed to Mweya peninsula for a boat safari where you get to see crocodiles. Once again, feast your eyes with the wonderful wildlife before you while enjoying a relaxing cruise along the Kazinga channel.

  • Drive To Lake Bunyonyi

    We depart for Bunyaruguru to enjoy wonderful views of lush tea, fruit plantations and the Rwenzori Mountains. We then continue to pass through Ugandan soil along Kagamba, Ntungamo, and Kabale, which is heralded as the Switzerland part of Africa with its hilly nature and breeze. Finally, we will drive to lake Bunyonyi in southwestern Uganda.

  • Early Morning Gorilla trekking

    We begin todayÂ’s activity with the much-awaited Gorilla Trekking in either Mgahinga or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the Gorilla living in this world.After Gorilla tracking, the Batwa experience in Karengerere follows where your guide will take you at the top of the hills to take in the great view of Lake Bunyonyi.

  • Take aboat and awalk to the view point at lake Bunyonyi

    You will embark on a canoe trek to enjoy the serene ambiance and breathtaking views of Lake Bunyonyi, which has made this place synonymous to paradise. You can also go on a village walk and immerse in the African community, go on a boat or take a coneo.

    Apart from its beauty, Lake Bunyonyi is also known as a place for little birds. In fact “Bunyonyi” translates to “place of many little birds”. Lake Bunyonyi encircles 29 islands of various shapes and sizes.You can also visit the underprivileged children of Loving Hearts Helping Hands primary school. They will welcome you with utmost hospitality via a short concert or traditional dance and loving smiles.

  • Drive To Entebbe

    After breakfast, we checkout of our accommodation and drive back to Kampala. We will have lunch along the drive back to Kampala, stop at the Equator for Pictures. We will take you to either to Entebbe International Airport if you are catching a flight, or to your respective hotel if you will still be spending the night.End of tour.
