This 9-day safari tour will include tracking chimpanzee in Kibale National Park, action packed game drives and hot springs in Semuliki National Park, and a boat safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will also go gorilla tracking and take part in the Batwa experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will end your tour at Lake Bunyonyi for the much-awaited Canoe Trek. Come explore Africa with us


  • Entebbe - Kampala

    You will be picked-up from the airport and driven to the Forest Cottages, an inspiring destination for nature lovers and tourists alike. After check-in take time to explore the cottage grounds that provide a small sanctuary for forest wildlife such as colored turaco, hornbill, and other bird species. The remarkable features of this hotel include the comfort, personal service and unique character of the facilities.

  • Kibale Forest National Park

    After breakfast you will check-out, meet up with your guide who will provide a briefing of your upcoming safari and then drive you to the rich tropical forest of Kibale Forest National Park. This park provides shelter to roughly 70 mammal species including chimpanzee and over 375 species of birds. In the afternoon you will go for a walk at Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary where you can see primates, a variety of reptiles and other interesting mammals.

    Bird lovers will enjoy sightings of over 200 bird species set amid the lush trees, shrubs and vines. Later in day you will travel to the Wild Olives Lodge where you will have dinner and settle in for the night.

  • Chimpanzee trek - Semiliki National Park

    After breakfast your day will begin with an exciting morning of tracking chimpanzee. There is nothing more exotic than starring in a real African jungle adventure. You get the real Ugandan atmosphere as you move through the bushes and watch the chimps swing through the steady branches.

    If you can’t get enough, you may opt to do the habituation experience, which allows you to spend the whole day with these amazing creatures. In the afternoon you will check-out and make your way to Semuliki National Park. Upon arrival at the Ruwenzori View Guest House, you will check-in, enjoy dinner and then settle in for your overnight stay.

  • Wild Life Viewing and Hot Springs

    After breakfast you will take off on a game drive where you will not only see a number of wildlife but also witness various species of birds native to Central Congo. Semuliki National Park is home to a wide variety of exotic Central African wildlife as well as the Batwa Pygmy community. Today’s safari provides a taste of Central Africa without having to leave Uganda.

    After lunch you will go on a short walk to see the Sulphur Hot Springs in a hot mineral encrusted swamp. The Mumbuga Erupting Spring resembles a fountain receiving its heat from the deep faults of East African Rift System. Later in the day you will check-in at the Bush Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kazinga Chanel

    After breakfast you will set out for a real Ugandan African adventure traversing through the bush of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park previously known in 1952 as Kazinga National Park was later renamed to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II.

    Here you will see hippo, leopard, elephant, lion, and chimpanzees among the other species of mammals and over 500 species of birds. After lunch you will proceed to Mweya Peninsula for an exciting boat safari where you get to see more hippo and crocodile while enjoying a relaxing cruise along the Kazinga channel. Later in the evening you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Lake Bunyonyi

    After breakfast you will check-out and depart for Bunyaruguru. The wonderful views of lush tea and fruit plantations and the Rwenzori Mountains will be your bacldrop as you enjoy a picnic lunch to eat along the way. You will also travel through Ugandan soil along Kagamba, Ntungamo, and Kabale, heralded as the Switzerland of Africa with its hilly nature and breeze.

    You will arrive at Lake Bunyonyi in southwestern Uganda in the evening where you will check-in at the Bunyonyi View Resort. Here you will have dinner and then settle in for the night.

  • Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    After breakfast you will embark on the much-awaited gorilla trekking experience in either Mgahinga or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. These parks are home to half the existing gorilla population living in the world. After this once in a lifetime experience you will have lunch and then head for the Batwa experience in Karengerere.

     Your guide will take you to the top of the hills to take in the spectacular view of Lake Bunyonyi. Later in the evening you will return to the resort for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Lake Bunyonyi

    After breakfast you will embark on a canoe trek enjoying the serene ambiance and breathtaking views of Lake Bunyonyi, a place synonymous to paradise. You can also go on a village walk and immerse in the African community. Apart from its beauty, Lake Bunyonyi is also known as a place for little birds. “Bunyonyi” translates to “place of many little birds”. Lake Bunyonyi encircles 29 islands.

    After lunch you can also visit the underprivileged children of “Loving Hearts Helping Hands” primary school. They will welcome you with utmost hospitality and entertain you with a short concert or traditional dance and loving smiles. Later in the evening you will return to the resort for dinner and your overnight stay.

  • Kampala - Entebbe International Airport

    After breakfast you will checkout and drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch along the drive and also stop at the Equator where you can take some memorable pictures. Upon arrival in Kampala you will either be dropped off at the Entebbe International Airport for your flight home or to your respective hotel for your overnight stay. This is where your safari will end.End of tour.
