• Day 1

  Tarangire National Park

  Depart at 6.30am for Tarangire National Park, approximately 4 hours from Moshi. Upon arrival at Tarangire Gate your guide will get clearance with the permits and introduce you to an armed ranger; the ranger will then take you on a short walking safari in this amazing park for 2-3hrs.

  Later return to your vehicle and proceed with game drives. Lunch will be served in a pristine location in the park. Depart the park later in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house lodge Karatu.

• Day 2

  Lake Manyara National Park

  After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, approximately a 40 minute drive. Venture into this jewel below the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley for extensive game drives to the hot springs at the far corner of the park. We will enjoy a packed picnic lunch. Later in the afternoon depart the park and head to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi safari lodge.

• Day 3

  Hadzabe Tribe

  After a very early breakfast you will meet the Hadzabe Tribe, one of the last hunter and gatherers in the world. Like the bushmen they communicate by the so called click language. For those interested in joining a hunt with the men, you will be able to venture with them in their hunting ground and experience their ways.

  They live in harmony with another tribe called the Datoga; a visit to this tribe is very worthwhile. They are the blacksmiths and experts in making various tools. Later in the afternoon visit the seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at the Farm House Lodge.

• Day 4

  Endless Plains of the Serengeti

  After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It should take approximately 4 hours with a few stops for game and landscape viewing. Arrive in Serengeti and venture into the central part of the park for game drives. Later in the afternoon, return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Kati kati tented camp in Seronera.

• Day 5

  Endless plains of the Serengeti

  After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with a packed lunch for a full day of game drives. Your guide will find a pristine location for lunch and proceed with game drives until later in the afternoon. Then you will depart to camp for dinner and overnight at Kati kati tented camp in Seronera.

• Day 6

  Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti for the last time for game drives with a packed lunch. Depart for Ngorongoro a little before mid-day and proceed to Ngorongoro highlands. Stop at the crater rim where your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger for a 1-1.5hrs crater rim walk. Later proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge Ngorongoro.

• Day 7

  Ngorongoro Crater

  After breakfast descend down the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed lunch for game drives. Experience this jewel and search for the charismatic black rhino. Here we will surely see all the big five. Drive back to Moshi later in the afternoon.
