• Day 1

  Drive through the Coastal region

  Pick up from an agreed meeting point and depart for Selous Game Reserve. This will be a 5 – 6 hours drive depending on the conditions of the road. En-route lunch boxes, water, juices and fruits will be provided. On arrival, you will depart for an afternoon boat safari and overnight at a public campsite outside of the reserve and close by the banks of the Great Rufiji River. Meal plan on half board ( lunch and dinner).

• Day 2

  Your private Game Reserve Reserve

  One of the greatest attraction of Selous Game Reserve is the lack of numerous tourists and safaris cars. A game drive in Selous gives you the feeling of being in a private game reserve. You will have a large part of Selous all to yourself. Enjoy a full game drive in Selous, with a great opportunity to see some of the largest herds of elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, wild dog.

  Other residents include lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras and greater kudus, a variety of 440 species of birds, over 2000 variety of plants, hot volcanic springs, lagoons and lakes. The Great Rufiji River meanders through the reserve into the Indian ocean. Overnight on full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), in a campsite inside the reserve.

• Day 3

  Walk in the wild

  After a light breakfast, depart for a walking safari which will bring you close to some of the smallest animals and plants that you would not see on a vehicle game drive. The crisp fresh African air mixed with the wild smell of the animals evokes your smell sense to the intoxication unique bush smell of Africa.

  Each plant and tree has medicinal value in the African Community and our guide will point them out for you. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger. Return to the campsite for breakfast and thereafter followed by a game drive and overnight at the campsite on full board( breakfast, lunch and dinner).

• Day 4

  Cant get enough- More game drive

  This will be a full day game drive from 06.30 - 18.00. Take the day exploring Selous G. Reserve as the famous explorers did in the yesteryears. Picnic lunch will be under shady trees with a relaxing visit to the hot springs Overnight at Campsite on full board( breakfast, lunch and dinner).

• Day 5

  Back to Dar es Salaam

  After breakfast depart for Dar es Salaam and transfer to the Zanzibar ferry or airport for your flight back home.
