  • Travel to Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

    Early morning, the company guide will pick you from your hotel and embark on this memorable safari by driving North West of Uganda along the Kampala Gulu High way to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and later to Murchison Falls National Park. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is endowed with over 22 Re-introduced White Rhinos. The Rhino tracking exercise begins with briefing from a specialized site ranger and thereafter you proceed to track the Rhinos. This activity normally takes between 30minutes to an hour depending on where the Rhinos are located within the sanctuary.

    Your time at the sanctuary will offer you an opportunity to learn more about the White Rhinos and will give you memorable experience about Rhinos in Africa. After rhino tracking at Ziwa, you will proceed with your journey to Murchison Falls where you’re likely to arrive at late in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge to relax in preparation of the next dayÂ’s activities.

  • Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

    This second day of your Safari gets you to encounter with the natural establishment of Murchison Falls National Park. You begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park. This game drive will certainly avail you with the chance to see various animals which among others include; lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees and many bird species.

    In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge of 7 metres wide and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes.

  • Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

    On this third day of the safari, you will embark on the journey in the morning to Kibale Forest National Park and this is a long drive which might take several hours with enroute lunch from Hoima town. While on the journey, you may opt for occasional stopovers to enjoy views of beautiful sceneries like the Rift valley escarpment on Lake Albert.

    Also, this travel gives you an opportunity to have an insight about the typical African village setup in the far countryside and various plantations. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge in preparation for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park

    This day starts with opportunity to encounter with Man’s closest cousins-chimpanzees in the forest of Kalinzu. The activity starts with briefing where instructions on how to track chimpanzees are passed on. The forest is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates as well as birds and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans sharing about 98.7% of their DNA composition with humans.

    They are sociable, intelligent as well as communicative and among their very interesting traits are their abilities to utilize tools like rocks for crushing nuts, empty pods for hollowing out water plus sticks for capturing termites from their holes. A successful track of the chimpanzees will give you beautiful lasting memories about Uganda. In the evening, you may opt to walk around the community to discover more about the economic and social livelihood of the local community.

  • Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    On this day, you will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park and while on the way, you will enjoy the spectacular views of the splendid Rwenzori ranges. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax. Alternatively, you can take an evening walk around the environs to learn and explore more about the community’s economic and social set up.

  • Game drive and Launch cruise on Kazinga channel

    Start the day with a game drive which will expose you to a variety of different animal species which are habitat to this park. The Park has several spots of well-maintained game viewing tracks where there are high chances of seeing animals such as elephants, buffaloes, lions and a variety of antelopes among others. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward to Lake George.

    The boat ride will give you an opportunity to see yawning hippos in water, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, the Uganda-kobs, topis, water bucks, bush bucks, reed bucks, duikers, mongoose, swamp antelopes, spotted hyenas, warthogs, forest hogs among others. Taking a boat cruise will therefore avail you with a chance to get into close encounter with such animals in addition to enjoying your time. After this fun thrilling expedition, you will relax at your lodge and have dinner before retiring to your respective rooms for overnight sleep.

  • Transfer to Lake Mutanda in Kisoro

    You will set off after breakfast to Lake Mutanda in Kisoro district for the amazing highlight of this safari which is gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. On your way to Kisoro, if time allows, you may visit the Kitagata hot springs; an iconic physical feature with an interesting local story attached to it. While at Lake Mutanda, you will enjoy the spectacular views of the foothills of the Virunga Mountain range, gentle breezes of the lake and cool yet sunny weather.

    The three volcanoes which can be viewed from here are; Mount Muhabura, Mount Sabinyo and Mount Gahinga. Also, this lake has several islands with the lake side accommodating a variety of animal and plant species which are unique to this area. Actually, weaver bird nests are a common site among the reeds along the lake shore.

  • Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

    Early morning, you will go gorilla trekking. This amazing activity takes you through the densely forested steep hills until you finally meet these tranquil gorillas within the green plant cover. It is such a wonderful yet memorable encounter. Tracking in the dense Bwindi requires physical fitness as it may last the entire day.

    Once gorillas are identified, you will be allowed a maximum time of one hour within their vicinity and then after walk out of the dense forest. Your time with the gorillas will certainly create a long lasting memory about your visit to Uganda. After this fun filled expedition, you will travel back to you can opt to take a walk around the environs of the lodge.

  • Travel to Kigali for a city tour

    On this day, you will leave Kisoro and travel to the Republic of Rwanda. While on the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the rolling hills that characterize this region. Upon arrival in Kigali city, you will embark on discovering more about this city by taking a city tour.

    Particular places expected to be visited will include the Genocide Memorial, the city’s Caplaki Crafts Village and the local markets. Visiting the genocide memorial will give you an insight about the negative consequences about Africa’s civil wars. After this adventurous exercise, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
