The safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth national park for wild game viewing and Bwindi impenetrable forest for the wonderful and more thrilling mountain gorilla trekking. It also involves visiting Jinja town famously known for its adventurous activities such as white water rafting, bungee jumping, Kayaking, Quad biking among others.

  • Travel to Kidepo with an overnight stay in Kitgum

    This tour begins from Entebbe where the company guide picks you from the hotel. Start your 11-days north to south Uganda Safari that takes you to Kidepo Valley National Park taking Kampala-Gulu highway passing through the greater Luwero Triangle.

    During the travel, enjoy views of diverse settlement patterns of the different local communities, landscapes and the amazing people. Continue driving north with lunch enroute in Gulu town. After lunch, proceed to Kitgum town to spend the night.

  • Transfer to Kidepo and interact with the Karamojong people

    After breakfast, set off to Kidepo valley National Park. This journey takes you through a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills. Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa.

    On arrival before entering the park, have a cultural experience that brings you into contact with the Karamojong people at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. From here, youÂ’re able to see the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items.

  • Explore Kidepo Valley National Park with morning & evening game drives

    After breakfast, go for a game drive taking Natabba gate area where you’re likely to see the cheetahs and other lower grassland mammals. The landscape throughout Kidepo Valley national park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoying panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners.

    In the evening, do a game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography taking of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions.

  • Hike to Morongule Mountain

    In the morning after breakfast, hike to Morongule Mountain to encounter with the Ik people for cultural expedition. After the hike, return to the hotel for lunch. In the evening, go for a game drive to Kanangorok hot spring area crossing the sand river. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostriches.

  • Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

    After breakfast, embark on the journey from Kidepo Valley National Park catching some last sights of its animals as you drive out. This tour continues through the remote parts of Uganda to the town of Gulu and later arriver at Murchison Falls National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and relax at the lodge.

  • Game drive and boat cruise with the hike to the top of the falls in Murchison Falls National Park

    After breakfast, go for a game drive in Murchison Falls national park. On the broad savannah, search for big cats, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, and many more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76. Continue browsing the circuits to the delta point for a cocktail of birds and mammals. In the afternoon, go for the 14:00hrs boat ride on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls where you get to see the Hippos yawning, Grooming in their Pods, Nile Crocodiles, Elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the banks.

    If you are a keen birder this might be your opportunity to see various birds’ species. After reaching the falls, jump off the boat and go with the guide to the top of the falls. It is a beautiful hike that takes you to see the falls close up as an explosive dash of water at close range gushing through a narrow crevice before the Nile continues its journey towards the Mediterranean.

  • Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo

    Early morning after breakfast, go for Chimps tracking in Budongo Forest. Walk through the fascinating jungle and have an amazing encounter with Man’s close relative-the chimpanzees. If you are a keen birder, this might be your golden opportunity to catch a glimpse of some forest species. Before this amazing expedition of chimp tracking commences, there’s briefing by the site guide/ranger who gives directions and rules guiding this activity.

    After the short briefing, chimp tracking expedition starts through walking in the forest. When chimps are located, a maximum of one hour is allowed to stay in their vicinity and then after walk out of the forest. Upon completion of this tracking activity, transfer to Hoima to relax at the hotel and overnight stay.

  • Transfer to the crater lakes area through Fort Portal

    After breakfast, transfer towards the crater lakes area through Fort Portal. This is a long drive journey and you will have lunch enroute from Fort portal town. While on the journey, have occasional stopovers to view beautiful sceneries like the Rift valley escarpment on Lake Albert and typical African village setup in the far countryside together with banana and tea plantations.

  • Explore the crater lakes area and community walk

    Explore the crater area by taking a walk to the Crater Lake. If you are lucky you might see different species of Monkeys, such as red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies. More in the forest canopy, colored aviation creatures such as butterflies and various bird species like the native Great blue Turaco, Joyful- greenbul, Olive long-tailed cuckoo, the superb Black bee -eater can be spotted.

    Then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, having lunch along the way. Drive either further southward with the Rwenzori ranges in view or through the Crater lakes in the Hills to sample out the surprising diversity of Savannah trees and wildlife. Arrive late in the late afternoon at the lodge in Kyambura and then stretch the legs with a community walk to the nearby villages and the beautiful Crater Lake.

  • Game-drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    This safari continues to give you a feeling of the thrilling wonders of UgandaÂ’s wildlife. Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning with an early morning game drive that exposes you to the diverse animal species. During the game drive, there is a possibility of seeing the Big FOUR members such as Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards. In the evening, warthogs, Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits during the drive.

    After lunch, it is the fascinating time for the Classic highlight of the 2 hours boat-cruise on the famous Kazinga channel- a 36km channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward. On the banks, you can see water and land Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the Crocodiles gaping along the Banks and the Savannah versions of Pigs- the Warthog.

  • Travel to Entebbe

    This day is reserved specifically to travel back to Entebbe for the flight back home. The drive to Kampala takes Kasese-Bushenyi and Mbarara route. Along the way, enjoy magnificent views of the banana and tea plantations in Kyamuhunga with lunch enroute in Mbarara. The drive in this region gives you an opportunity to see herds of the beautiful indigenous cows –Ankole cows which are reared in this region.

    Also, stop and take in a visit to the Equator that runs through Uganda. It’s marvelous to have pictures taken underneath the Equator Sign. Generally, people tend to carry out non-scientific experiments, most of them are manipulated illusions and not authentic but fun to watch. There are also Curio and Souvenir Shops that you can visit. A couple of them have their wares nicely displayed and make it easier to shop for crafts, including of course the Equator T-Shirt that is an optional buy for many visitors and others
