• Day 1

  Travel to Lake Mburo National Park with an evening game drive

  On this day, our company guide will pick you from the hotel/lodge either from Entebbe or Kampala and drive westwards to Lake Mburo National park via Masaka-Mbarara high way. On the Way to Lake Mburo, stop and take in a visit to the Equator that runs through Uganda. It’s marvelous to have pictures taken underneath the Equator Sign. Generally, people tend to carry out non-scientific experiments, most of them are manipulated illusions and not authentic, but fun to watch.

  There are also Curio and Souvenir Shops that you can visit. A couple of them have their wares nicely displayed and make it easier to shop for crafts, including of course the Equator T-Shirt that is an optional buy for many visitors and others. In the evening, take a bush game drive where you are likely to see Zebras, Impala herds, Warthogs, water bucks, Topis among others. This park provides the best chance of viewing a deep red sunset silhouetting the thorny acacia shrub along the extensive marshy area.

• Day 2

  Morning game drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  After breakfast, go for a boat cruise and enjoy the sighting of aquatic animals like hippos, crocodiles as well as buffaloes. Some bird species can also be sighted along the shores. These may include, African fish Eagle, Goliath Heron, Black crowned night Heron, African Finfoot, Shining blue kingfisher among others After the boat cruise, check out and transfer back to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

  Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

• Day 4

  Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi

  On this day, this safari allows you to relax at Lake Bunyonyi after the thrilling and awesome exercise of gorilla trekking and hiking. While here, enjoy the boat ride, canoeing and swimming. This lake is suitable for swimming because it is bilharzia and crocodile free. However, swimmers should take note that this lake is the second deepest in Africa next to Lake Tanganyika. Also, the spectacular scenery of the environs of this lake makes the place ideal for relaxation and refreshing.

• Day 5

  Transfer to Kampala and then Entebbe

  After breakfast, start the journey back to Kampala and while on the way, you will enjoy spectacular views of the various scenic landscape features including the terraced hills of Kabale and vast banana plantations in Ntungamo and Mbarara. This trip takes you for a visit to Igongo cultural center in Mbarara where you will have lunch from.

  While here, you will have an opportunity to have an insight about the cultural and traditional setting about the Banyankole who are the inhabitants of this region. You also encounter herds of the indigenous famous Ankole cow (Long horned) which are predominantly reared in this western region of the country.
