Arrival
You will be welcomed by a representative of Nile Rapid Falls Tours & Travel who will transfer you to your hotel either Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on the time of arrival you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) for a first introduction with the extraordinary flora and fauna of Uganda.

Ngamba Island
A visit to the island of the chimpanzees! In the morning you will depart from Entebbe for a close encounter with our relatives. After a pleasant boat ride you will reach Ngamba Island, where you will be directed to the visitors centre to learn more about the chimps and their lifestyle.
You will be able to view and photograph these fascinating apes in their natural environment from only a few meters away. In the afternoon you will take a boat ride back to Entebbe and return to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel of your choice.

Entebbe -Kibale National Park
After breakfast we will depart Entebbe and head west to Fort Portal. This lovely town rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon and is famous for the lush and green tea plantations. From Fort Portal we will continue to Kibale National Park for a stay within the tropical forest. Dinner and overnight at the cottages of Primate Lodge Kibale.

Kibale National Park & Bigodi Swamp
Wake up to meet Kibale residents, the Chimps. Have a briefing at the headquarters before embarking on the Chimp tracking tour. Later after lunch at the lodge, go for the afternoon nature walk around Bigodi Swamp. Dinner, overnight and breakfast at Primates Lodge or Chimps Nest.

Kibale-Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning we will visit the crater lakes area with some stunning views, before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is a beautiful route via Kasese, with the Rwenzori Mountains on your right side and the green valley on the left. A game drive on our way to the accommodation in the middle of the national park gives you the chance to spot waterbucks, warthogs and other wildlife.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day start with a game drive to the northern part of the park. This is an area for an excellent game viewing and also offers much to birders. The drive takes through an open grassy plains that support large flocks of the birds tour of the park.
This is the nearest site for the Shoebill, Lesser Jacana, Blue Swallow, Black-Shouldered Nightjar, Afep Pigeon, Blue Breasted Bee-Eater, Papyrus Gonolek, White Winged Warbler, Swamp Flycatcher, Purple Swamphen, African Water Rail, Common Moorhen, African Jacana, African Pygmy-goose, White-faced Whistling-duck, Squacco Heron, Goliath Heron, Black Crake and many more birds. We return for lunch and then take a boat launch. Watch hundreds of hippos, elephants and many migratory bird species, such as the Grey headed Gulls, White winged black Terns, African skimmers, Morning Dove, Water Dikkops, Great white and Pink-Backed Pelicans, etc. Return for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi
Early in the morning we will leave for an experience in the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve. Driving through a grassland area, we shall come across an amazing gorge of a hundred meters deep, covered with tropical rainforest. You will hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees. Later we will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head towards Bwindi.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early and get ready for a life time adventure of Gorilla Trekking. Have a briefing at the park headquarters before the rangers guide you deep into this chunky forest in hunt for the Gorillas.
You will move up and down in the rugged landscape until you finally meet these pleasant creatures that will keep you amused with performances for a full hour. Go back to your Lodge lunch and afterwards opt for a community walk. Dinner and accommodation at the Silverback Lodge.

Bwindi-Kampala
After breakfast, start a day’s drive back to Kampala, through Mbarara, a different route. Have lunch in Mbarara Town. Proceed to Kampala but stop at the Uganda Equator, an imaginary line that divides the earth into two the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Take photos at the Uganda equator and visit the craft and souvenir shops at this site, after which an advance to Kampala, arrive in the evening. Stay at the hotel of your choice.

Departure
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories you will say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Depending on the time of departure you might have some time to spend in Kampala for a city tour.
Visit the interesting and historical sites, including the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi Tombs and the African Craft Village for a purchase of a souvenir. Afterwards we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home. We are looking forward to seeing you again!
