• Day 1

  Arrival in Uganda

  We shall pick you at the airport and drive off for 40 km to Kampala. If you arrive in time, you may have a Kampala City Tour where you will visit the tourist attractions like Kasubi tombs, Uganda museum, Bahai temple, Ndere Troupe cultural centre for the culture museum and Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo.

  The day ends at the African Village on BUganda Road or at the National Theater for handicraft viewing and shopping. Dinner and overnight at your hotel or lodge.

• Day 2

  Leave Kampala for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  Very early in the morning we leave Kampala for a long journey towards the western part of Uganda. It is a full day drive but via a scenic route. On our way we will pass the equator an imaginary line that separates the Northern and southern hemisphere. We shall have a brief stop for photos and shopping for the souvenirs.

  We will have lunch in the town of Mbarara and proceed with our drive through the countryside to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at the Engagi Lodge.

• Day 3

  Gorilla Tracking Safari in Bwindi

  Forest Wake up early and get ready for a life time adventure of Gorilla Trekking. Have a briefing at the park headquarters before the rangers guide you deep into this chunky forest in hunt for the Gorillas.

  You will move up and down in the rugged landscape until you finally meet these pleasant creatures that will keep you amused with performances for a full hour. Go back to your Lodge lunch and afterwards opt for a community walk. Dinner and accommodation at your Lodge.

• Day 4

  Move to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  After breakfast, leave Bwindi and within 6 hours hours, you will be in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check into your Lodge, have lunch and head for Kazinga Channel boat cruise.

  Enjoy the cruise while viewing the Hippos and other wild animals drinking at the shores and plenty of bird life including migrant birds and flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

• Day 5

  Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale National Park

  Wake up early and go for a game drive and to view the Leopards, Hyenas, Warthogs, Kobs, Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Forest Hog etc.. and other smaller animals. Have lunch and leave for Kibale National Park. Have Dinner and lodging at the Primates Lodge.

• Day 6

  Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Nature Stride

  Wake up to meet Kibale residents, the Chimpanzees. Have a briefing at the headquarters before embarking on the Chimp tracking tour. Later after lunch at the lodge, go for the afternoon nature walk around Bigodi Swamp. Dinner, overnight and breakfast at Primates Lodge.

• Day 7

  Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

  Start an early drive to Murchison falls National Park via Hoima to Masindi. Arrive at the Park in the evening and sleep for overnight at Paara Safari Lodge. After an early morning breakfast, Start an early drive to Murchison falls National Park via Hoima to Masindi. Game in this part includes the BIG FIVE, elephant, giraffes, Jackson hartebeest, oribis, waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds.

  After lunch we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Watch how hippos take a bath, elephants come to drink and crocodiles lying lazy at the shores. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

• Day 8

  Game Drive and Boat Ride

  After breakfast, you will go for an early Morning drive in search of Lions, Leopards, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Buffalo, Oribi, Warthogs, Uganda Kobs and Elephant and many of the other smaller animals. In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, meeting place for lots of land and water mammals and birds. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

• Day 9

  Visit the Top of the Falls, leave for Kampala, with Rhino tracking En-route

  Visit the Top of the falls for a multiple view of the gorge where the Nile squeezes in to a 7 meter gorge before a deep fall of 40 meters. The falls are stunning and roaring with a beautiful rainbow displayed on sunny days. You will then after leave for Kampala, but track rhinos enroute at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Having lunch at the place, you will continue to Kampala where your arrival time with be late evening.

• Day 10

  Visit the Source of River Nile, return to Kampala

  Drive to Jinja, tour the source of River Nile at Rippon falls and a few sporting activities like Bungee Jumping, Horse riding and quad biking. In the afternoon or evening, drive back to Kampala and if time allows, visit the craft and souvenir shops in Kampala. Overnight at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

• Day 11

  Airport Transfer

  This day for airport transfer and marks the end of the big five safari tour in Uganda.
