Chimpanzee Tracking Safari in Kibale Forest, Game Drive Safari in Queen Elizabeth national park Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel and Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.


  • Arrive in Uganda

    Primate Safaris Uganda: Chimpanzee Tracking, Gorilla Trekking, Game Drive Safaris and Nature Tours. This 8 days Uganda Primate Safari has chimpanzees, mountain gorillas and wildlife safaris on the tour menu. Chimpanzee Tracking Safari in Kibale Forest, Game Drive Safari in Queen Elizabeth national park Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport you will be received by our staff who will take you to Kampala for overnight at your Hotel.

  • Travel to Kibale National Park

    In the morning, we shall drive you to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park is Uganda’s habitat for chimpanzees and believed to be the closest relatives of man. You can choose your accommodation at the Mountains of the Moon Hotel in Fort portal town, Primates Lodge Kibale or Kibale Safari Lodge.

  • Take Chimpanzee Tracking, and move to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Have breakfast and be transferred to the park offices for briefing before tracking through the forest to search for chimpanzees. During this Chimpanzee Tour, you will meet chimpanzees and other primates like the red tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys and many others.

    The forest walking will give you an opportunity to see quite a number of primates, birds and butterflies through an arrangement of forest-sheltered trail. After the tracking the chimps, return to the lodge to have lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the biggest and busiest parks in Uganda. Arrive in the evening and stay at Mweya Safari lodge.

  • Game Safaris and Water Cruise on Kazinga Channel

    On day 4, and after breakfast, you shall go for a morning game drive. You will have an opportunity to see the elephants, hippos, leopards, spotted hyenas, lions, bush bucks, stripped jackals, water bucks, various birds and warthogs and many animal species. You will later have lunch and then go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Kazinga channel, running through Queen Elizabeth National Park is 40 km water channel that links Lake George to Lake Edward.

    While on the boat cruise, you will see many buffaloes, elephants, hippopotamuses and several bird species in the waters and on the shores of the channel. ItÂ’s an interesting 2 hour boat cruise, full of many wildlife species. Return in the evening to the lodge. Stay overnight at either Enganzi Lodge, Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge or Mweya Safari lodge.

  • Game Drive and Connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    In the morning, take a game viewing drive in the park, spot a variety of wild animals, and return to the lodge for breakfast before leaving for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive early afternoon or evening and check-in. Overnight at Silverback Lodge, Mahogany Springs or Buhoma Lodge.

  • Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    Wake up and have breakfast, transfer to the park offices for a Gorilla Trekking briefing. You will then start the gorilla trekking in the impenetrable forests of Bwindi. Meet the gorillas while observing and taking their pictures. Return to the lodge after a long awaited gorilla trekking tour in Uganda. Stay for overnight at either Silver back Lodge, Mahogany Springs or Buhoma Lodge.

  • Drive back to Kampala

    After breakfast, start a day’s drive back to Kampala, through Mbarara, a different route. Have lunch in Mbarara Town. Proceed to Kampala but stop at the Uganda Equator, an imaginary line that divides the earth into two the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Take photos at the Uganda equator and visit the craft and souvenir shops at this site, after which an advance to Kampala, arrive in the evening. Stay at the hotel of your choice.

  • Airport Transfer

    You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
