Visit the three largest and most popular parks in Southern Tanzania on this special 7-day safari starting in Dar es salaam and ending in Dar es Salaam. Start at the Mikumi National Park in the hazy blue hills of the central/southern highlands. Here you will spy colorful migrating birds, impressive herds of elephants and hippo, plus lion prides hunting along the Great Mikumi National Park and the Mzombe Rivers that border the park. Then Drive to the expansive 21,000 square Selous Game Reserve.


  • Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

    Morning pick up from Hotel, Airport or Ferry terminal and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours drive from Dar es Salaam On arrival you go for afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park with overnight at Vuma hill tented camp on Full Board. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam.

    Within its 3230 sq. km its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few. Meal Plan – Lunch, Dinner.

  • Ruaha game drive

    Early morning game drive and back to the camp for late breakfast, after breakfast drive to Ruaha National Park with stop in Iringa for lunch after lunch proceed to Ruaha national park on arrival you will start with game en route to Ruaha river camp for overnight on full board. Meal Plan –Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

    After breakfast you go for full day game drive in Ruaha national park with packed lunch enjoy your lunch on one of picnic site which your guide will choose. Ruaha National Park covers an area of 20,000 sq. km and a vast and magnificent wilderness area and is Tanzania’s largest park.

    Ruaha National Park is the home of largest population of Elephants, it also hosts Larger herds of Buffaloes, pride of Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Kudus, Grant’s gazelles, Wild dogs, Ostriches, Roan and Sable antelopes and more than 400 different bird species. The great Ruaha River flows through the eastern side of the park and is home of hippos, crocodiles and water birds. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha river camp on full board.

  • Morning game drive in Ruhara National Park, afternoon drive to Morongoro Town

    Early morning game drive and back to the camp for late breakfast, morning game drive in Ruaha is the best game drive while animals active most active. Around 10:00 mp you will drive back to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast you drive to Morogoro city for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Arc hotel on full board. Meal Plan –Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

  • Selous Game Reserve morning and afternoon Game drive

    After breakfast drive to Selous game reserve with packed lunch. On arrival you start with game drive on route to southern part of Selous game reserve. Selous is one of the biggest game reserve in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji river camp on full board. Meal Plan –Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

  • Selous game drive

    After breakfast you go in a game drive in selous game reserve and back to the camp for hot lunch after lunch relax on the bank of Rufiji River before evening boat cruising on Mighty Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji river camp on full board. Selous Game Reserve covers 5% of Tanzania total land area and is approximately 55,000sq km, Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania’s most extensive protect area.

    Selous game reserve provides shelter of large numbers of Elephants, big populations of Buffaloes, Wild dogs, Lions, Crocodiles and Hippo in the mighty Rufiji River, also has a rich. variety of bird life and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos. The reserve is named after the one of the famous British Frederick Courtney Selous who was killed in the reserve during WWI. Meal Plan –Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

  • Morning walking Safari in Selous in the afternoon drive back to Dar es Salaam

    Early morning walking safari and back to the camp for late breakfast. After breakfast you will drive back to Dar es salaam. On arrival in Dar es salaam you will be dropped at the ferry terminal for last ferry to Zanzibar which leaves at 15:45pm. Or airport for your flight back home or other destination.
