Spend five days in the wilderness of Ruaha on a private Safari with local guide and wildlife photographer Paul Tickner. Stay in the best game viewing location and the finest camp in Ruaha, Ikuka Safari Camp. In our private vehicle, maximise your photographic opportunities and avoid the rabble. Paul is on hand to guide and look after you, finding the best light, wildlife and landscapes and helping with technique and editing. Combine with other Safari destinations for you and your group.

  • Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park

    You will be greeted at the airstrip in Ruaha by your private guide Paul Tickner and your private vehicle. Make your way up to Ikuka to settle in and take lunch. Head out in the afternoon to enjoy the evening light on your first game drive. Discuss the next day and the possibilities over an evening drink and dinner.

    Find a spot next to the Great Ruaha River and wait to see what comes along. See whats lurking in the hidden corners of the Mwagusi river. We will show you the best areas and create the Safari according to your wishes, conditions and sightings. Early mornings, evening editing, full days or extra activities like bush walks, it is totally up to you! Soak up the wilderness and wildlife of Ruaha whilst getting more out of your camera. We have our own private vehicle for our exclusive use, no sharing!

  • Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park

    Take breakfast and a short morning game drive before flying out back to Dar for international connections or your onward Safari and beach destinations, which can also be arranged by Paul Tickner Safaris.
