  • Alexanders Hotel

    On arrival at Dar es Salaam international airport you will be met by your private car service and taken to Alexanders Hotel, hidden aWay on the peninsula. Unwind in the peaceful surroundings amidst the bustling city and enjoy the excellent fresh seafood on offer.

  • Kichaka Expeditions

    After an early start you will be met by your driver to go back to the domestic terminal. After a short flight across the interior of Tanzania, you will be met at Ruaha national park airstrip by Kichaka Expeditions.

    Enjoy a game drive and refreshments on the Way back to the remote camp set in a wilderness area along the Ruaha River. Here you can discuss your options with your hosts Molli and Noelle and begin to soak it all up.

    Kichaka operate a private camp, you are the exclusive guests. Your Safari is entirely fliexible. Molli is as good as it gets in terms of walking guides in Africa and wil open up entirely new experiences for you in the wild.

    Spend your days on full day hikes, short bush walks, game drives or fly camping in even more remote areas of the park. Walking is the best Way to experience the bush and nothing comes close to meeting an elephant on foot... Let Molli and Noelle entertain you around the fire in the evenings.

  • Ikuka Safari Camp

    Today, after an early breakfast, you will leave Kichaka for the drive across the Ruaha wilderness to meet Ikuka Safari Camp. Rest your weary legs and settle into bush luxury under canvas and another totally unique wild location, before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

  • Ikuka Safari Camp

    Head out for morning and evening game drives, taking breakfast and sundowners with you. Enjoy top-notch guiding, relaxation and service in camp. Ikuka, run by its owners, commands unrivalled views across Ruaha. Enjoy your sumptuous room and the company of fellow guests at the lively bar and dinner table. Bush walks are also available.

  • Return to Dar es Salaam

    Unfortunately today you return to Dar es Salaam and onward connections via a short morning flight from the Ruaha airstrip. Paul Tickner Safaris can organise car services, accommodation in Dar and any further destinations such as the coast and islands.
